This change sadly makes the system worse in all cases, it practically has 4 times less seeker lock range than BR equivalent ARH counterparts, which is inexcusable for a top tier AA.
There is a thread where this is discussed and has almost 200 votes and we would like to communicate to the devs that we hope to see this change reverted, or refined by adding seeker fallback at any range if DL is lost.
Instead of the current situation where the seeker always stays shut off until within 4km of last known position.

I personally just dont like fighting myself. Like… F-15vF15 fights or Su-30vSu-30 fights are boring lmao.
Its even worse at BRs where alot of premiums are like, I want to have interesting fights in my J-7D, not fight 16 other J-7Ds lmao…

Half the planes in the game with HMD should have IFF but currently don’t, anything with JHMCS (F-15’s, F-16’s, F/A-18’s) and Targo (Norwegian F-16AM, Kfir C.10) should have it but still don’t, hell they don’t even show radar target locks still.

Yeah that too. First few months after the Typhoon was added was dull as hell in ASB, because when you didnt have Rafales dominating it was just EFT vs EFT

Not to mention the impact I am sure it has on statistics, like i can think of more than a few planes that would probably go up in BR more if they weren’t fighting themselves constantly. Like that has to be skewing the statistics really bad.

Last update, A10 as well. Every top tier needs this…it makes them more killable with systems that can be taken out, not so much missile spam when going down.
