Next Major Update - Rumor Round-Up & Discussion

it has APG-63v1, not unique to it, the F-15C ingame has it

KF-21 looks very good. Like J-35A. He s 5th generation?

It is different to the F-15E currently in game though which is what I said

never claimed unique

Better than the F-15E radar if I recall correctly.

Show me a Yak 141 in service, a Horten, an HSTV-L, an F-16AJ, I could go on
We have plenty of vehicles which were not in service.

You also neglected to address the FA-50 and KF-21

Yeah because those are the 2 indigenous aircraft which I meant in my first comment, I though that was obvious.

I heard they’re either roughly the same or APG -70 might have more power output depending on what you believe

63v1 electronic upgrade and reliability from original APG-63, but may have better range, same with APG-70

True but that doesn’t mean every paper or prototype is going to be added, and I do believe the Lavi will be at some point but again they aren’t service, you can’t just assume they will be part of the tech tree

I expect Lavi will be an event/premium vehicle

Might be the APG-63(V)2 (AESA?) I was thinking of, also I believe the F-15K is getting a radar update at some point, maybe it already has, so depending on if and when they add the F-15K we might get the late version instead.

The 63(V)1 is newer than the 70 though right?

Yeah the v2 is AESA, and it’s only on US F-15C.

The slam eagle is getting APG-82v1 (radar of upgraded US E and EX)

Yeah 63v1 is newer

Fair enough, I see some F-15Cs were fitted with 70s before having them replaced with 63(V)1s so could lend some credit to the 63(V)1 being better at least for A2A.

Also did the F-15K have the same ground radar nerf as the F-15I did? does the 63(V)1 even have ground radar modes?

I think they put 63v1 on C for reliability, old M-scan used to be pretty awful in terms of reliability so any upgrade was very useful.

I’m not sure about ground modes, 63v1 took advancement from the APG-70 but I don’t think it has ground modes

March, June, September, Oktober/November and December are when we usually see the majors.

It very much was real, multiple were made, flown, and armed

“just an” its heavily, no, a massively upgraded its performance with ground attack, even adding other stuff like TISEO on it and having a very advanced radar for its time meant for ground targets.

Saying that the Kurnass 2000 is just an F-4E upgrade is like saying that the F-4F ICE is just an F-4E Upgrade. It may as well be an entirely separate aircraft.

you make a good point, why doesn’t the K2K have a ground radar in game?

APG-70 on F-15 in 1979, had ground modes

Kurnass wasn’t as far ahead as you are making it out to be

Should get ground modes though

Wasn’t that also only the leak list? So something we don’t have yet for the next update

(Please, I want to believe they use the last chance we have at getting a Japan focused teaser)

I was using just relatively, compared to an actual domestic aircraft it is “just” an upgrade program, SK does have more domestic aircraft designs that saw service than Israel does, it may only be 1 more but it’s still more

Ya, that’s what I was referring to initially. Until I see it on some leaklist before the update or the teaser trailer, I don’t have much hope. It’s just too iconic to just slip into a dev server without fanfare so if it’s coming, it will make some waves somewhere

No it was an NGAD

I don’t see why they shouldn’t. What happens if the US ends up leasing/selling F-15EX’s to Taiwan? May not be able to avoid a Chinese eagle anyhow.

There’s more advanced Block F-16’s on the way for Taiwan, and Pakistan has block 52 C’s and D’s. So at this point it’s just a question of payload for US based CAS options on the 16 vs giving the Chinese an F-15 somehow, versus Su-30 payloads. Russian based CAS is arguably better so I don’t really see the point here of not doing it, but oh well, lmao.
