Next Major Update - Rumor Round-Up & Discussion

I mean the F-15 already has a pretty large body, it’s basically a box with wings, an engine, and cockpit, the CFTs make the box even bigger

CFT on the F-15 are much less prominent than the CFT on F-16 and EFT (which are unbelievably ugly)

Brother there a whole wiki page

Only three British Typhoons and a Challenger most leaks actually came from Russia

What nation will get Leo2 clones in next patch? Your thoughts

Yeah, there is a lot of non British stuff, but the CR2 was the first to get some coverage

Doesn’t matter please just stop blaming/ making fun of one nation and making this into a flame war

Cause Type 10 is the only tank with a “CVT” and its issue is likely very well related to that.
I bet the temporary solution would be to remove the Type 10’s CVT which itself causes a historical issue so they have to weigh fixing one bug that causes a historical issue, or wait until a new engine is finished.

The recent Eurofighter leaks actually appear to be Italian, the most major ones anyways, then there is the Chally 2, T-90, and ZTZ-99, the rest are export restricted or lower

CVT is not modelled though… Type 10 accelerates several orders of magnitude slower than Type 90, even though it should be the other way around.

Yeah, he just wanted another opportunity to Britain bash again which is getting boring now

Sweden I guess

Exactly my point, they have gear-switch set to the lowest number to “simulate” a CVT.
It’s likely the thing causing the issue.

Should they make governors on some tanks toggleable/a modification? Apparently, no governor Abrams can do 60-70mph so it would be a nice little buff to mobility

But they aren’t simulating CVT… Type 10 has a lower HP/T than Type 90, so Type 10 accelerates slower.

Nothing about its steering being so broken that it can’t turn smoothly at all indicates that it’s a CVT simulation attempt, specially not when we have provided Gaijin perfect and simple ways to simulate it (Increasing HP to 1,333 (calculated carefully) while the statcard still shows 1,200) and they have outright refused because “it wasn’t a proper mechanic”…

Type 10’s mobility is gimped in both ways; it accelerates WAY too slow, and it loses all speed and turns too abruptly and excessively whenever you push A/D. And there is no excuse to not having fixed it in these +4 years Type 10 has been ingame with the same issues…

At least we know for sure the Italian defence ministry is the one that intervened. No idea other wise. ZTZ99A we can’t even verify the thing and also it is just a round.

Nah let the documents fly OPSEC be damned.

On a more serious note I am surprised EU Countries haven’t enacted something to push against sites with these documents to help tighten up those leaks.

Exactly like why is there no attempt at a takedown of the EFT manual

The DA7 is the last of the pre-IPA series prototype and it was indeed built by Italy. Regardless of the fact that it was leaked by DCS players and once on WT circa 2023, it is restricted considering gaijin cannot know who read the files.

Greek subtree makes little sense for UK.

Greek subtree makes little sense for any single country, considering that Greece has been using vehicles primarily from US, France, and Germany since WWII, and UK vehicles up to WWII and for the early 50s. You can add a few Italian vehicles and a few Soviet ones in there as well, just to make it more confusing.

If we’re going to use “political” criteria of which country in game Greece would make sense being part of, then realistically only the US fits the bill (especially since this game is now a Cold War / contemporary warfare game), while a case could be made for France.

Not much else makes sense.
