In such cases, people will bring old battleship to missile ships BR then.
While nuclear shell is not what super game-ending like nuke does in ground realistic, USS Missouri can’t use that shell because there are no storage for it. Also, we already have shell that isn’t in game though they can use such as Japanese Type 3rd round or British WW1 HE shells. Capital ships round is much more restricted in game rather than destroyers and cruisers.
but it cannot shoot down more advaned aircraft which can carry weapons that can destroy an iowa class. also its alleged that they carried nuclear tomohawk cruise missiles. each one can have 150kt warhead. it can carry 32 of them. it would be more unbalanced than only 20kt of W23 though
and theres no reason the W23 shouldnt be able to fit into the loading systems same as any other 16in shell for the iowa. even then, if its only missouri just add new jersey or iowa with it
There is a good debate to be had on whether or not Iowa even is inferior to the likes of Lion / Temeraire / Sov Soyuz etc, but even if it is, it’s not to the extent that it needs the ability to sink both teams via nuclear tsunami a minute into the match lmao.
Looks like this is the reload buff season in Warthunder … well only if the vehicle or the one related to it is a non-TT vehicle.
Sholef V1 got the first stage reload buff.
Still, it needs the 15t weight reduction, from 60t → 45t and the functional laser range finder.
RU has krondstat and historical enemy of nuke iowa, JPN got 16in before US, and has faster reload in 16in than US 14in which is very unfair and inaccurate
everyone else stuck around in the blast zone lol
20kt is a pretty small warhead too tbh, the whole tsunami thing will just be a moderately sized wave, it wont be that bad unless its really close or a direct hit
