Next Major Update - Rumor Round-Up & Discussion (Part 1)

So at first I was going to post to say that Gaijin probably won’t have a whole lot of options when it comes to top battleship premiums in 2025, but after doing the research, there’s a pretty decent amount of ships available for everyone.

Gaijin will do what they can to have premiums available (yes, even selling top-tier premiums. It will happen). There are a few cases where it’ll be pretty difficult if Gaijin follows their own rules, such as no double-dipping on the same ship being first and foremost. And the rule that ships must be laid down to be considered.

When we take all of this into account, Germany is the worst off, with 2 completed battleships and 2 projects. Italy is the next worst off but they have 4 Littiorios to pick from.

With all that considered, here’s what Gaijin would have available for top battleships:

USA
Colorado Class (4 possible)
North Carolina Class (2 possible)
South Dakota Class (4 possible)
Iowa Class (WW2 and postwar fits) (6 possible)
Total: 16 ships (3 projects)

GBR
Revenge class (WWI and WW2 fits) (5 possible)
Queen Elizabeth Class (WW2 fit) (4 possible)
King George V class (5 possible)
Lion (2 possible)
Vanguard (1 possible)
Total: 17 ships (2 projects)

DEU
Bismarck class (2 possible)
H-39 class (2 possible)
Total: 4 ships (2 projects)

RU
Sovetsky Soyuz (4 possible)
Stalingrad (1 possible)
Total: 5 ships, all projects

ITA
Littorio class (4 possible)
Total: 4 ships (1 project)

FRA
Richelieu class (WW2 and postwar fits) (4 possible)
Total: 4 ships (2 projects)

JPN
Nagato class (WW2 fit) (1 possible)
Tosa class (1 possible)
Yamato class (4 possible)
Total: 6 ships (3 projects)

looks like US and GBR are future of naval

Yeah they certainly have the most options! But I doubt we’ll see them all and don’t really need to.

The hardest one for Gaijin to make premiums for will be Germany by far, as they’ve got two two-ship classes left. But I can definitely see Bismarck being in the tech tree while Tirpitz is a premium.

France actually should be pretty easy, put both completed ships in the tech tree and both projects as premiums.

Italy should be simple too, Just pick one of the Littorios and make it a premium… doesn’t really matter which as the differences between them aren’t huge from what I understand.

even if they only added 2 colorado, 1 NC, and 2 SD, and at least 2 iowas, thats still 7 ships which still would make it 2nd place if that number was put against all the other total possible additons

and ofc, there are the W23 shells for the iowas

The Iowas definitely are going to have a lot of variety. Early fits, late war fits, and multiple postwar configurations are possible there.

USA could also receive the Lexington class battlecruiser and South Dakota class battleship (1920s dreadnoughts)

A Lexington I think would especially be interesting since they were the only class officially designated as “battlecruisers” by the USN

Agreed, there’s a lot of things I would change about when certain vehicles were added, how they were added, who they were added with in the navy trees if I had the opportunity to change them

I would hate to be a plane near the Iowa class…

I didn’t include anything that currently has a 7.0 BR. I suppose anything’s possible.

Gonna replace the turms

A very good list! I assume you excluded the four Amagis due to being battlecruisers, and Kaga due to certainly being reserved for use as a carrier?

(So three Amagis then, or rather two as Amagi herself would likely be saved as a carrier too).

Now that we have the Eurofighter and stuff. The likelyhood of the F-22 next year should be good. Even moreso since it was on a leaklist of being worked on

the leak list that said EFT is delayed?
