as much as I enjoy the tree, it would have been fine as a subtree
Finland. Half of China. Half of Japan. A third of France. A third of Italy.
Effectively, the game could be structured to into three major trees.
US Tech, European Tech, and Soviet/Russian Tech, with everything else being a two or three sub-tree line down it.

China is like 2 subtrees combined, I think that’s fine, but if you want to be accurate about 90% of China is imported
Japan has a great early tree; you can’t just remove the end of it
France is a perfectly fine tree, they basically hate importing stuff it was just immediately post war that they had to for obvious reasons, but their late tree is great
Italy could have probably stayed a German subtree, tbh

Has the BP ground vehicle leaked?

Rumors say potentially a French M46 or M47, or something along those lines

That’s what lease vehicles are, yes. Unless it’s a lease vehicles specifically made to be leased (with less modern equipment compared to the leasing country ones for example).

So … Belgian M46 it is then?
Keeping the theme of this BP of adding US copy-pastas to the two new sub-trees.
Either way a French or Belgian M46 wouldn’t be a loss as a time-based event vehicle, as both nations didn’t use them except for crew training anyway, and in very small numbers at that. (So no FOMO for any Belgian/French player)
If that’s the theme, then I hope they get at least very nice historic camouflages to go along with them. (And a very clear decal placement for Simulator Battles)
But you have also proven that you do in fact refuse reports to keep some vehicles at certain BRs. So it doesn’t mean anything. Gaijin will do as they please and every and all “realism” is done on a whim.
