Next Major Update - Rumor Round-Up & Discussion (Part 1)

Honestly these changes are very clearly showing they will fight tooth and nail to avoid actual decompression

AMX A-1A is also not being touched, that really surprises me, Its not an 11.3 worthy aircraft, its barely 11.0 worthy

And then they wonder why we hate 'em, “but we did that for you!”. I’m getting flashbacks to that one certian economy patch.

BR is not the only factor that decides price. It’s also Rank and Economics (bonuses etc).

I mean yeah I get it, but once again the point of the BR change is not to improve balance at top tier, it’s to improve the situation from 9.0-11.0 which gets dragged up to top tier.

I’m certain that BR decompression for top tier will come when Gaijin is ready to add more top ground vehicles. But it seems right now they’re focusing on aircraft, since there’s a bit more room to expand there.

My guy, some nations have already reached a dead-end in terms of content. Japan has nothing more left to add, Germany has just 2A7V copy-pastes with Trophy, US has one MBT left, UK has just the Challenger 3 left.

We are in the end game now, and they still haven’t done any proper decompression of BRs (we should’ve been on 13.0 by now, not 12.0), what we have is a circus.

So thats why the F4J(UK) is 12.0 in Sim but the FGR2/FG1 is 11.3. Despite the fact the FGR2/FG1 have more CMs, better engines and better RWR?

Its premium.

But still doesnt explain why the Tornado Gr1, ASSTA1 and A200A are all a higher BR than the WTD61, MFG and A200.

By that explanation, Tornado WTD61 should be 12.0 because it has a higher reward than the other 5

It does have better thermal generation, and if it had the CITV it’s currently missing then I’d say it would be on the same level as the HC and clickbait, but as of now the lackluster firepower and missing CITV are indeed a problem…

Its literally the same rank and soon BR as the T14 which is cheaper, iirc they have similar bonuses also so maybe im missing something but between the 2 the T14 is still cheaper and has a lineup so the 2.8k price doesnt make much sense. Unless they differ greatly in RP/SL modifiers.

You are confusing two different factors. They asked about the GE purchase being lowered because it’s BR was.

I was talking spesifcally about how GE purchase price is set. Nothing more.

There was talk about new graphic options coming to the next patch ? Ray tracing and DLSS maybe ??

Thank goodness, I want a 7.7/8.0 SPAA for the UK, and if that means killing the Falcon’s TD capabilities that’s fine by me.

Hey @Smin1080p_WT, my proposal to revert the M26’s BR from 6.7 back to 6.3 got over 50 likes and nothing came of it.

Do the devs not agree with the reasoning, or is there another reason why this wasn’t acted upon?

@Smin1080p_WT Typo by the way. Sea harrier FRS1 is already 11.3, not sure how it can move from 11.0 to 11.3 as it is already 11.3. I assume its meant to be dropping in BR down to 11.0 from 11.3?

I agree that the balance at top tier is wacky and does need the help, for sure.

But there definitely are vehicles out there that Gaijin would use to push the BRs further. Next-gen tech demonstrators, late Cold War prototypes-- both of these are highly requested, likely to come at some point, and Gaijin would probably use their introduction to extend the maximum BR up to 12.7 or 13.0, then the current range of top vehicles would get decompressed.

Hi, I’m sorry, but I have a question for you.

Why do I see in this announcement that all Leclercs are going to 12.0 without any new APFSDS?

Is it just a matter of battle efficiency?

or is it an implementation issue?
