What Vehicles are Sweden in most need of ”the wishlist”

Especially if they ever finally give it RB75T and / or ground tracking
Tho it’d most likely lose PD availability as it was only a monopulse radar

I’d also love RB28 to eventually be added but that’s never going to happen

Still shocked that the Saab 105 and AJ’s are still gimped with their loadouts.

Saab 105 had alot of intresting armaments, like maverics lol

I wonder if they will ever add RB101 aka Meteor.

Was bored and decided to make the Motorlavettage 10 ton using my Photoshop super skillz. Noticed it doesn’t use a ball mount.

Wouldn’t have much depression with the cannon mounted so low but that’s also an issue the 150 SPJ has. Also the superstructure looks weird without the cone sticking out the back lol. Its like a human head without ears, something you don’t notice at first but it looks so off when you do.

Literal clown explanation the rank and soon BR’s will be the same and for a miniscule better RP amd SL warrants a price of (KV-1A) 2.8k GE over 1.7k GE for the T14, literally showing how much gaijin views Finland as a cash nation what a joke.

I’m a bit lost with this specific model. We can see upgraded carrying capability with bombs and missiles but vehicle seems to still be equipped with original radar cone and Swedish markings. Could that mean that this jet was potentially a transition vehicle carrying radar and initial weaponry while also adding A2G capability?

Mortar carrier?

I reverse image searched it and didn’t find much reliable info. But seemingly it was a mortar system developed by Bofors on the MT-LBu chassis called “Morgan” in the 90’s, but it lost out to the AMOS system and was scrapped after that.

Mortar systems aren’t really a thing in WT, for good reason, so I don’t think we’ll see it in the foreseeable future.

Saw this on Army Recognition, supposedly it’s the Mk.IIIC
Mk.IV turret ontop of a Mk.III hull, one difference seems to be the RBS 58 missiles (modified Akeron-MP) being used instead of SPIKE
Also mentions that this is without the additional armor that it will recieve in the final version

Nice!
I assume that they are going to fit some sort of retrofitted/newly made(?) C version addon armor to it.

Edit:
I also like the commander periscope on top.

Managed to scramble up some more pictures from the Southern Scania Regiment Instagram account. They refer to it as the “Stridsfordon 9035”.

Stridsfordon 9035

Rough translation of the Instagram post description as follows:

To replace the circa 50 Stridsfordon 9040C donated to Ukraine, work is currently ongoing to reprocure the same amount to the Army. The vehicle variant that has been decided on the same as our Dutch allies are buying. This comprises a chassis from the, by BAE Systems, so called CV90 Mk III-version and the turret from the latest Mk IV-version.

In comparison with the vehicles the Army today uses, there are several key differences. For those who know their combat vehicles, the most obvious difference is that the armament here consists of a 35 mm Bushmaster autocannon rather than the 40 mm Bofors autocannon we are used to seeing on our vehicles. Despite the caliber, the effect is at least the same and, with the programmable ammunition, the system is very potent. With regard to effect, the vehicle in this version has also been fitted with anti-tank guided missiles which contribute to an increased ability to defeat for example enemy main battle tanks. What has also been increased is the protection level. Stridsfordon 9035 weighs in at circa 35 tonnes and a considerable amount of this is due to the additional armor. On top of this, the system has been fitted with a variety of sensors and countermeasures to detect and act against incoming threats - for example the ability to via munitions defeat an incoming missile [APS]. Other noteworthy differences are that the hatch here has been replaced with a ramp, the tracks are rubber, and that the vehicle has been equipped with several cameras for 360 degree situational awareness. When it comes to the [transport] capacity in the combat compartment the same 6-7 personnel is still applicable.

The pictured vehicle that, during the Friday and Saturday [25-26 Oct 2024], was shown off by the manufacturer and Land Warfare Centre at the Southern Scania Regiment is the one that the Netherlands is buying. The vehicle pictured does however lack additional armor.

Went and saw it in person during Pansardagen 2024 where they showed it off and a bunch of other Swedish vehicles to the public.
Purely “trust me bro”, but I asked the Hägglunds guys there and they said it uses a variant of the Spike ATGM, not RBS 58.

No. This is the actual vehicle which will enter into service, the one at display was the first one to leave the factory doors.

Huh, odd, because the Swedish southern regiment say on their post about it:

Huh, that’s odd considering that’s the opposite of what Hägglunds told me…

They might have given you the answer for the Netherlands version as that was the one being demonstrated?
