Fine, Löwe when? The point being that any engineer can draw something on paper. Whether it can be built and function as advertised is another issue. There are a million and one German, Soviet and U.S. prototypes that never made it past paper and really have no place in the game if realism is to be in any way preserved. Not that the game is all that realistic now, but its better than most. They even go through the trouble of making test vehicles have their lack of armor be a feature despite any production vehicle having the armor package. Last I checked the Ho-Ri didn’t have wooden armor in game.

While F-16AJ outright never existed the YF-23 did

How slight is enough, the weapons capability on the YF-23 is still just a proposal, that would only have been achieved if the proposal was accepted, how is that any different to the AJ, aside from the technical limitations of the game in regard to pylons on the landing gear?
I’d argue that the Yak-141 is worse than the AJ or the R2Y2, given that both of the Japanese aircraft filled long term holes in the Japanese tech tree, whereas the Yak-141 came after the MiG-29 and was at the same BR in the tech tree, it filled no holes and was at no point necessary.

They gave the IRIAF R27 so I think it’s loadouts it was supposed to have, would be the line they draw
I don’t care about loadouts, the YF-23 never did, nor could, launch a missile, that would make it fictional, so by that same line, the YF-23 could never be added to the game
I mean equally the F-16AJ was intended to fly, and have a radar, and launch Sparrows and Sidewinders. Either intention is enough or it’s not, but stop trying to draw the line exactly where it benefits you the most

As long as the airframe and all the stuff existed, even if separately (yak-141 radar/yf-23 weapons bay) it’s fair game
The F-16AJ is fictional since an F-16AJ airframe was never actually made, and they never made the parts for it specifically either since it was never more than a proposal

this is the point, there was never a functioning YF-23 weapons bay.
By the rules you are trying to enforce, the only weapons bay you can have, is one with the capacity to hold, but not launch, missiles
And I’m not saying it isn’t a perfectly valid suggestion, but the AJ is in the game already, so your argument falls flat on its face there

I think the AJ is next on the chopping block for sure though. I get the Thai F-16 sucks but it is there after all. And ofc, there is F-2 like you said before.
Exactly, after the F-2 is added, the AJ can be phased out
While you don’t jump up by 1 BR at this point we should be at 15.0 BR with the latest additions with proper decompression. This idea by @kr1sp7 is what top tier should look like at this point in time.
With BR decompression like this many of the aircraft that are proposed to move down in this current BR changes can either stay as they are or move up in a similar fashion. It just seems that the devs are more concerned with adding new ways to monotise the game with the player auction than properly balancing the game.
Also, they should really add a Thai F-16A ADF to fully replace the F-16AJ

Yeah though I’m in the opinion they should remodel it into the Thai F-16A ADF as it save people grinding another F-16 out

I wouldnt call the MiG-29G on par with the Su-27 and Su-33. Would be more fitting at 13.3 with your decompression
