Major Update "Firebirds" - Rumor Round-Up & Discussion (Part 2)

Am I the only one who thinks every country getting every vehicle kind of defeats the purpose of grinding multiple trees, and overall defeats a lot of the game’s asymmetrical uniqueness?

China will grow larger!)

I would love to see more east German vehicles in the techtree. Tanks aircraft and ships.

yes, because a tree doesn’t have only the one copy paste vehicle in it

Type90 is just a Leopard 2 with autoloader and jumping suspension /jk

A sub-tree rework might be the only way to save this game.

Something like, let’s say like this:

I hope this leak has no base and completely false or they revert this because China and Singapore has nothing to do with one another and is complete nonsense to do.

Yeah they do have some issues with the tech jumps, but that’s really no excuse to add Singapore to them (not saying you said that, just reinforcing our collective point too), and really that’s what the J-10 is there for, and the F-16MLU with amraams, the F-CK and the Mirage 2000, I believe not just these but as you said the early Su-30MKK which should be here by now, hell just add North Korea or Myanmar to give them the Fulcrum too

I am completely against giving REDFOR countries BLUFOR aircraft. It completely ruins the point of the game and makes it to where you are playing against better or worse versions of a vehicle you are using. It makes for boring symmetrical gameplay.

This here, I understand some vehicles going to other trees having different modifications and to help these nations out and bring some representation to the nation added, but yes the likes of adding Singapore and Indonesia to China would give them pretty much everything, why grind France if China will have Mirage 2000 and Rafale? Why grind Japan and Israel if China will have F-16s of all major variants, as well as the Strike Eagle and the F-15EX, and Malaysian F-18

Not a DevBlog but still interesting.
This bad Boy even had a 152mm “Fun”/Launcher for some time in the Statcard XD

Trust me, I know, but reinforcing that at top tier even more by giving every country every aircraft is something that can be stopped before it worsens.

What causes more arguments, ASEAN vehicles in Japanese tree, or ASEAN vehicles in Chinese tree

Everytime it gets brought up people shoot the idea down and say “go play Russia if you want Russian vehicles!”

Like holy heck, they are historical vehicles USED BY THE GERMANS! Why is it only a issue for them to get historical vehicles?

We’ve gone so far down the time path that Redfor no longer exists in current top tier

must I remind you that 3 of the nations currently in game used Redfor planes while being Bluefor

this “trend” was unstoppable from the start, may aswell embrace it now and remove the endlessly disbalanced Metas of the past

You see, if everyone is playing the Leopard 2, the game will be balanced and everyone will be happy.

And if everyone is happy, then they will pay full price for the squadron Leopard 2 that will never go on sale and half price for the premium one (originally $80) so that they can pair it with the subtree Leopard 2 and the Leopard 2 that appeared in a singular advertising brochure once alongside the dilapidated Leopard 2 wreck that was pulled off the battlefield in unrecognizable condition and the Leopard 2 a low rank officer got to ride in during joint training operations.

This is the future Leoberals want.

This for me is the major reason I think it’s a terrible idea. Otherwise what’s the point of grinding the other nations if eventually everyone gets everyone else’s stuff? None really.

So great job Gaijin - you make players less incentivised to grind different lines, to purchase different premiums of different nations, etc. Real top work.

Whatever genius has come up with this idea hasn’t clocked this basic fact. That’s leaving aside the genuinely disturbing weapons-grade historical illiteracy on display by stacking a load of SEA nations under China in the tech tree.

It also plays into the terrible inconsistency that Gaijin is guilty of. One rule for one, one rule for another. They’re effectively creating a drama where there was no need to.

It’s just a bad idea on so many levels. It’s so bad that you’d hope it was bleeding obvious to anyone who stops and thinks about for longer than 3 seconds.

why do for some people only top tier vehicles matter?

are you really grinding 100 vehicles to play the last one only???
