Speaking of current plans, F/A-18F for USA? I know this drum was beat endlessly not that long ago, but given current… changes to original plans with the F-14D, is this one too likely to change?

We dont have any plans currently. Its equivalent allready exists in the tree, being the E. They are functionally identical.

There is no reason not to do it. Imo there are to few differences between the B and D for it to not be folded.
as much its memed, the event is where such things live, its visual flavor and 200kg. Tho its probably too high of a BR.
