Not really a big thing, but it would be the only 2A4 in game with integrated DM11. It would also just be nice to finally have a 10.7 lineup instead of the massive hole between 9.7 and 11.0
There’s quite a lot of options here, Indonesia has a lot of domestic and co-developed vehicles. Top tier is probably not the most exciting, with really only the 2RI and maybe Harimau for a light tank option with some better firepower (5s reload M1060CV), but for people interested in earlier ranks I’d recommend looking at the list by @NFrost51, there’s a lot of unique vehicles here.

- The DU hull should have already been on the last 3 or 4 Abrams series anyway, so that is not a good argument.
- The upgraded turret armor should also be the exact same, maybe a tiny bit better than this set V2. Very, very little difference anyway, since no rounds can penetrate it.
- More advanced fire control system isn’t gonna help in-game. That’ll barely give it any effect in game anyway.
- M829A4 will likely not be added with the tank, since we don’t even have A3 yet.
- The Trophy APS is definitely a big thing I am advocating for, because it stops fire-and-forget ATGMs.
- The Crow system is basically ineffectual in game because it just houses a machine gun but will be lower profile, so harder to hit.
- Third-generation thermal sights, another reason why it is needed in US Top Tier: since a lot of other nations have 3rd gen thermals in Top Tier.
- 8 new suspension and power distribution to compensate for the extra weight Again, very ineffectual since the tank weighs about 3-5 tons more It will still have about the same or maybe even worse mobility.
And if it was only given M829A2, like you said, it would instantly be the best tank in the game. I still don’t think so, since its only upgrades would really be better thermals and a new APS and armor, but I highly doubt Gaijin will ever give it its true realistic armor.

no? the du hull was on 5 sep V2 test beds but only put into service with the sepv3
lower profile turret neck and 300mm of armour around it (i think)

Whoa, where did you pull this from? If this is true, this is news to me, but I have never heard of this in existence.
It could be swapped out for the Mk. 19 40mm AGL which would give it some capability to deal with light targets and side armor with 3"(76mm) of penetration on the HEDP ammo (M430A1).

Gaijin legit said themselves that the M829A3 being added would be a placebo effect and be very ineffectual compared to the M829A2 round we have in the game now.
it should be on most abrams variants ingame already
