Devblog from WT Mobile: Kirov-class battlecruiser, Kirov / Admiral Ushakov
It was obvious they were gearing up to add it once they went over the unspoken max-two-types-of-missiles limit. Yet still a surprise to see it come so soon.

Maybe a Meteor
one can only hope (its not happening)
Just for the record, I did not yet make a bug-report for the CV90120-T weight change.
That was @Jadenbetter-live, I merely added sources to that report and helped with its initial creation.
The only thing I really did so far otherwise were a few small (in comparison to what I have for sources by now) forum post to summarize some parts of the issue and contradictions.
e.g.:
I do plan to make a dedicated report with these (and additional sources) but I have not found the time or motivation to continue working on it.
But TL;DR is essentially;
BAE Systems lists (as they usually do, up to this very day btw) maxium chassis weight (which is 35t for the CV90 MK III chassis, which is what the CV90120-T described in the 2006 brochure is offered to be based on, the actual vehicle still uses a MK0/MK1 chassis with upgraded engine and maybe reworked drive-train).
At the same time, a configuration that was first shown 2 months after the brochure appeared featured AMAP-ADS APS, which itself weighs approx. 500kg.
The same specifications were listed by BAE Systems for this configuration, including the “up to 35t” figure, which already makes it essentially impossible for the ingame-config to be 35t.
There are additional armour packages offered for the vehicle, which are not present ingame but would be part of a 35t configuration.
The sole known change compared to the 2000-2004 config (which is otherwise identical to the ingame config) is that a 600kW engine is now offered instead of the <=550kW ones.
The 2002-2004 config has a combat weight of 26-28t depending on armour package, meaning that the ingame-config is modelled weigh 7-9t more solely through the use of a 600kW engine.
Just fyi, the entire “early” (1998-2000) turret has a maximum weight of 7.44t w/ applique armour, ammunition and crew - and a base weight of 5.5t with basic armour package (not including crew & ammo-weight)
Must be a pretty heavy engine …
Made of tungsten or depleted uranium clearly
xD, gotta blame my friend who helped me make the screens.
