Are RWR broken again Client vs Server side? In game didnt warn me of a 7M launched by an F15 at the same alt as me, in the replay it did. I honestly wont be surprised if its thanks to lovely nuclear thunder lol^
Also, i have not received ANY of the RP from my last 10 or so matches, literally goes nowhere, yeah least broken month of WT i suppose

only the navy phantoms (F-4J and F-4S) have the PD radars and i have not found any images with them having AGM-72s, AGM-45s, or AGM-88s, but we could’ve used the F/A-18A or C, a EF-111F, F-4G, F-105F/F-105G and so on

point being there’s a whole list of US aircraft at a similar BR or at the same BR as some of the aircraft given that would’ve been in many cases better than what we got

You would also have to upgrade the Russian free fighter, because F/A-18A or 18C early vs MiG-23MLD does not seem balanced lol.

i was just mainly listing off aircraft that could also use the nukes and harms, but yeah, give the US something that can use its equipment at the common alt and the same with the USSR

Probably beating a dead drum here, but I hope the Nuclear Thunder event isn’t the last time we’ll see the Tropical Coast map. IMO, in the limited time I’ve spent exploring it it’s actually very well designed. Sure, most of the map is basically water but (and this is just my experience) you never really see said water unless you make a beeline for it. It just felt so refreshing for it to actually take a while to get to certain places even at supersonic (and sometimes Mach 2+) speeds. I’m hoping it does come back, for ‘regular’ matches at 13.7+, and as a dedicated EC map for Sim.

If not, it is my hope (read: cope) that existing EC maps get enlarged to this new ‘limit’ on maps.

Also, Su-35 when?

A Hawk T or a 132 or both foldered

Hi @Smin1080p_WT there is a plans to make BMPT’s more realistic? i mean make proper damage model because right know survivability of these vehicles are ridiculous.

AAAAAAAAAAAAARGH, NOT AGAIN

I was really hoping for an MBT, even if at least event…

But noooo, more air.

Air, air, air, air, air, air, air.

(Sorry for the rant, just a ground top tier main frustrated by the uncontested air focus in the past years compared to ground xD)

wouldnt have happened due to AIM-120s

it does feel like they should have made the J the default option since the soviets get the Mig23MLD, the Mig23M would have been more comparable to the F4E

you know the last 4 (technically 5) April fools have been Ground right? like complaining that the normal events is an air event understandable the april fools event? thats unjustified

2021, 2022 and 2025 were BOTH air and ground, so they were for everyone; 23 and 24 were more ground focused, yes.

Thing is, this air-exclusive event with air rewards comes after an air event, will be followed up by another air event, and comes in a 2 year period where 70 jets have been added while only 3 MBTs have been on the same time period…

So yea, I can’t feel like the past 2 years have been saturating and focusing on air top tier while ground top tier has barely got anything beyond those 3 MBTs and SAMs meant to counter the air spam on the first place (and soon they will be rendered obsolete once again anyway with the implementation of yet aaanother air focused addition, anti-radiation missiles.)

i mean in fairness, War Thunder did start out as a Plane-only game

Misconception:

War Thunder released as a Global Open Beta on January 23rd, 2013. The logo already featured a tank on its design.

War Thunder: Ground Forces’ first trailer came out in May 14th, 2013. Just 4 months after the game’s Open Beta Test release.

By July 13th, 2013, there were Dev Blogs ingame footage of various Russian and German ground vehicles.

War Thunder: Ground Forces’ Closed Beta test began in November 13rd, 2013.

War Thunder: Ground Forces was openly released in May 15th, 2014, in the 1.41 update.

The only reason why Air came a year earlier than Ground is because they had a head-start by recycling the pillars for it from Birds of Steel and Birds of Prey. That doesn’t mean that the game was meant to be an import of Birds of Steel with the whole Ground section “being an afterthought” that they somehow fully developed in months after the release of Air.

Oh god, I think I know what can fit here and would totally be a gaijin thing to do especially after Malaysia.
