yeah i get that sometimes, i switch to ground or play a different game whenever that happens
Yeah I went on a spree of grinding British ground due to some goals of mine. One was to get most of the South African BR 8 stuff while making the most god awful multinasional 10.7 line up lol

God speed on getting anything actually fixed. I’ve given reports of the AH-1G/Tzefa A/B lacking a rocket sight for the pilot to include the TM and explained how the setting it based upon the ballistic chart in the cockpit and got hit with the “you didn’t provide enough information and we don’t know what it looks like” as if it isn’t the same exact reticle but set to whatever ballistic engagement setting established

I do find it comedic that they added the B52H with the vulcan but don’t give it the radar that was used to control it. Another bomber lacking it and no ETA on when they B-66 is going to get it added back.

A-6E and A-7E, Subsonic aircraft, limited RWRs, Limited CMs. They handle like a bus (and my god AGM-62s are terrible) Only reason I was playing the A-7E was for the AGM-88s, which could have been placed on something a lot better.
A-10, didnt even take out once because its so slow I would have spent most of the match just flying from the AF to the front line
F-4E… I just dont like the Phantoms anymore for a number of reasons, but I also like BVR/SARH combat and it has a terrible radar that was unusable. Its also got a limited RWR and very limited CM count, which meant having to micro manage CM counts in a gamemode where I would have stuck on periodic chaff deployment in the Tonka.
They could have picked way more interesting US aircraft, let alone aircraft from other nations.
US aircraft that would have been more fun than the selection:
- AV-8B
- F-111A
- F-4 with a PD radar (keep it with Aim-7E-2s)
Better aircraft from other TTs
- Harrier GR7 (Aim-9Ls)
- Tornado IDS (ASSTA1 uses AGM-88 and im 90% certain on the same mounts already modeled for the AS-34, so if its not already been done ready for the next major, it would have taken 30 seconds for them to add and its already a nuke carrier in GRB)
- Mirage 2000D
- Viggen D
- Maybe something like the Thai F-5T or F-5E FCU (I know US aircraft, but its a non US modification)
(Mirage IV would have also been really good in this gamemode)
They just picked really really bad US aircraft.
and quite frankly. It should have been open to all nations or default selection only. Rewarding some players and punishing others for what trees they grinded was just stupid

Oh, but don’t worry, the missiles will be jank and track targets outside the radar scope. I’ve watched my AiM 7s try to AiM 120 on targets that were never illuminated dozens of miles away.

O be fair the 5th star has become available and thus most people have unlocked the B-52 and/or the Tu-95. People who are still playing now are probably finishing that star or they do enjoy the mode.
Even when the 5th star just came out it still had a massive drop in players
Imagine people playing mode thinking they’re fun to only find out people was just using it to collect the vehicles. I feel like this will be a trend going forwards and make gaijin do minimum to be doing april fools events.
the mode was fun, the first like 3 to 4 days I continued to play it well after earning both stars, then they repeatedly did the complete opposite of what the community was telling them, to the point that the mode is barely fun to even play anymore
at the very least the changes to ground rewards makes grinding the last star a little easier
