Couldn’t tell you. Would be a better idea to add domestic UA equipment first then later on down the line add donated/leased gear slowly.
there isn’t much need, most of the vehicles they use are unmodified from the donor nations, the only real exceptions are small weapons modifications on aircraft, like HARM capable MiG-29s, and Storm Shadow capable SU-24s, which isn’t much of a reason to add them
The only gear I want to see from the western nations are the ones with domestic upgrades with ERA, I think those are dope. Would be very unique to the UA research branch.
They could just add Ukranian skins to the specific vehicles of the donor nations tbh, that would be enough
If there’s a UA research branch I don’t see that being the case, but you could add some as box skins as a temporary solution for sure.
Why and where would there be a Ukranian research tree?
Couldn’t tell you, but you could take some hints from certain Ru staff over on the other forum, from what I gathered they’re waiting for the conflict to end.
that is likely going to be a while, and also even after it is, adding Ukraine to the Soviet tree is just an awful decision.
Not regarding anything about the tree, I have friends on both side of the conflict, I hope it ends soon.
The US is probably the last nation that needs a gap filler, especially not at top tier
US mains don’t actually know what a gap it
Pretty much
This is not the point…
The point is that Singapore should be represented as either a sub-TT or a ASEAN TT.
Singapore operates F-15’s. ASEAN isn’t likely to be its own TT, with Thailand going to Japan, Bangladesh to China and Vietnam being in China and the US - although not confirmed sub-TT’s.
Japan needs the help. Especially since they dont get an equivalant to the Rafale, Eurofighter and soon to come F-18.
The Vipers are delayed on purpose to make them DOA, so that no one will frantically grind Japan, and Gaijin doesnt lose money on level 10 top-tier buying noobs.
Besides, its a C&P vehicle, so its most likely to come as a TT anyway.
Name the naval squad that operated the Vietnamese Coastal boat in the US TT?
Or the Swedish tank battallion that fought in the Finnish T-55.
A sub-TT has nothing to do with influence etc… Ofcourse, some historical ties are related with one another, but not that heavy weighted.
As with BeNeLux E.G. The Netherlands and Luxembourg have nothing to do with France, only the Netherlands has operated a few French vehicles, thats it.
Besides, BeNeLux could have easily be its own thing, especially naval wise. And if they were adding an Indonesian sub-TT to it, it would have been even bigger. Especially since Indonesia used/uses modified Dutch vehicles.
I mean they do just that it’s kinda rude to say on the forums :P
What will come between upgraded F-15E (or C) and F-15EX then? The F-15SA is the perfect step from the F-15C late, and the F-15SG (428th FS) could be foldered under F-15E (late) or as an event vehicle. F-15QA would work as a high tier premium far into future
Anyone still remember the “It’s a German tank there for it must go to Germany at all cost” ‘argument’. xD
What it there between the F-16A and C, or the F-15A and C, or the A10C and AV-8B, or F-111F and F-15E?
They’re all bigger gaps than between the F-15E AN/APG-82 and the F-15EX
Idk much about jets but is the su47 capable of countering the F/A18?
the Russian counterpart to the F/A-18 would probably be the MiG-29K, and the SU-33 depending on which version of the F/A-18 you want a counterpart to
- There shouldve been a block 30 F-16C
- There could’ve been an F-15C early with the late AIM-7 and 9M
- Can’t think of anything off the top of my head for that gap, maybe an F-18D early?
- Should’ve been a gulf war version of F-15E to fill that gap, maybe foldered under main F-15E
- F-15E late and EX would be in 2 separate lines and have very different BR’s due to armament, so there would be a gap. Also, the late F-15E would probably come way before the EX
