Next Major Update - Rumor Round-Up & Discussion (Part 1)

The insane thrust of the Typhoon alone makes it amazing. I’ve sometimes accidentally reached 1800km/h and even once breached 2000 without noticing.

It’s better than everything else by a relatively large margin, however the Rafale just has a more META kit (for air rb anyways) and this isn’t changing until they add the actually decent Fox-2s to the Eurofighters

what’s this

Back to my originial point, I see no point giving China a mediocre jet when they could instead receive an amazing one (all due to the radar)

ASRAAM when?

The J-11B would not be mediocre.

MICAs, 180* HMD, AESA radar all make it more usable in every sense besides BVR

it’s an F-15C equivalent, not a Eurofighter one

So the F-15C is mediocre now?

Also, PL-8Bs.

well, it can be good. since 1493 is one of the best non-esa radar, but another “one of the best non-esa radar”, as I know, is Captor

It is bad compared to the RBE2

MICA fits better for the current meta, as the AIM-120 is effective only in medium and long range engagements, where anyone can notch and simply evade your missiles

Personally can’t stand BVR jets, super boring to play but when played correctly it’s above average at top tier, not amazing

35gs allows it to be quite effective in closer range engagements, actually. Not being able to pull 180 degree turns doesn’t mean it’s bad at those ranges.

which is why i’m not confident that gaijin won’t just C&P the J-10A’s radar with a higher range stat and call it a day, forcing them to model a new radar is the only way to avoid the myriad of bugs and headache that comes with the bug reporting process

the worst in ARH, but still better than almost every SARH.

So you’re happy to take an AMRAAM over a MICA in a close range enviroment, suit yourself

It would be 14.0 worthy, just that the Eurofighter and Rafale are 14.3 worthy

That is a strawman.

Well clear up your opinion then, are you saying the AMRAAM is better than the MICA or not?

No, and I never implied it, either. I said the AMRAAM is capable at closer ranges and nothing else.
