I’d even go so far and say adding an M7 Priest in Steingrau with a Tatzenkreutz to mark it’s west German origin would be absolutely fine in game
personally id prefer a Reorganisation of the Tech tree tho
adding a GDR and a West germany Line early on that contains T-34-76/85, M44, M42 and M7 Priest
every time you’ve explained your reasons for this they boil down to I don’t like that

The marder 2 would be at a much much higher br. With the 50mm cannon you have 180mm pen with a maximum of 400 rpm (although it could be set at 150rpm aswell). This would put it at least at 10.0
Germany is still missing a rank 3 light tank and only a east german pt-76b can really fill that gap (a m41 with only solid shot or a Alvis Saladin/sonderwagen 3. two foreign tanks aswell). There are simply no other options except tanks like the spähpanzer kurz which would be another auto cannon tank which struggles to pen even the sides of tanks
For most other tanks I agree but you know gaijin. Half the vehicles we get now are c&p

what about the Spähpanzer SP I.C.? Or hell even the VK16.02 i mean we have so many modern vehicles and weapons in game that are completely built on speculation that detailed paper deisgns would be much more “realistic”, I would rather have anything unique than more copy paste. (Also dont forgot the plethora of swiss vehicles that now can be added to the german tech tree)

and Norinco is really bad at naming things. Recent example is VN-23 is another Institute‘s product, while 8x8 version VN-22 assult gun is VA-1.
the sp1c has only a 300mm pen heat round. It would probably be at 6.7 or 7.0 like the german m41.
The vk16.02 chassie was build but not the turret which makes it the same problem like the removed corelian.

There are no different versions. The barrles could be interchanged on the fly. The 35mm still has 120 mm pen and still with 400 rpm. It would be 9.7 or higher aswell like the VBCI-2 (MCT30)
No, a build hull is allready a real partial prototype, however you switch up the Vk 16.03 with the Vk 16.02.
The Vk 16.03 has the Puma turret, the 02 has a 20mm gun Luchs turret.

They wouldn’t be realistic as they are literally fictional. It’s why we call them ‘paper vehicles’.
That’s more just your personal preference. Personally, I’d like to just be able to make a historical line-up: a West-german M47 with a marder and M109 for example or an East-german line-up with a T-72, T-55 and other basic soviet equipment. If a vehicle served in the german armed forces I believe that we should be able to play it. Most players won’t fully grind more than one Tech tree.
There has been no official declaration that swiss vehicles now exclusively reside in the German tech tree. It’s also very much not needed outside of maybe top tier Air. There are hundreds of german service vehicles and prototypes that can still be added.
I think the 02 has the “puma turret”. Never heard about the 03. But on drawings of the vk1602 the turret seems bigger thant the one of the puma
The suggestion you linked seems to have a totally different chassie which isnt flat over the tracks like the vk1602
