At least Gaijin put the US Star emblem beside it, considering the US didn’t use it or have anything to do with the program lol.
It’d be like adding the Hs 129 B-3 “Duck” to the Italian tree because “they needed more CAS planes” so Gaijin just slaps on the Italian emblem and calls it a day (just an example in case people lose their minds)
Well tbf gaijin has claimed that Romania dumping ground was Italy, where Canada is split.
Australia though no one should take about it’s not a sub to Britain, I mean the US needed a squadron tank.
Other than that everything is in Britain even 2 US based aircraft.
Thanks for the plug! Not only are those options, but also the T-54AMZ, which was an East German domestic upgrade to the T-54 which brought it up to roughly T-55AM standards (maybe a little lower).
gszabi99 leaked a Swiss F/A-18C and F-5E around Autumn last year, so it’s entirely possible for us to get a whole bunch of Hornets.
I’m assuming we’re for sure getting:
F/A-18C (USA) – 9Ms, 120Bs, full AG loadouts
F-18C (Sweden/Finland) – 9Ms, 120Bs, no AG loadouts
Things we can speculate about are:
F/A-18C (Sweden/Finland) – 9Ms, 120Bs, full AG loadouts (they eventually got AG loadouts)
F/A-18C (Germany/Switzerland) – 9P-5s (or 9L/Is), 120Bs, iffy on whether it gets AG loadouts
Some variants I think are less likely but still very viable additions are:
CF-188 (UK/Canada) – 9Ms, 120Bs, full AG loadouts
F/A-18A (UK/Australia) – 9Ms, 120Bs, full AG loadouts
Some cool variants we could see in the future but probably won’t come next patch:
F/A-18A+ (Spain/Italy)
F/A-18A+ USMC (USA)
I’m definitely curious about what Gaijin will do with the baseline F/A-18A. The F/A-18A and A+ could both honestly either come as a Premium or a Squadron Vehicle in the future. The A+ would never be “top tier” - only being 13.7 at most - making it Squadron Vehicle material. And the A would only ever receive AIM-9L/Ms and AIM-7M/Ps - putting it at 12.7-13.0 - making it Premium material.
I definitely would prefer at least the F/A-18A to be in the TT, but Gaijin made the AV-8B NA a Sremium and the Su-33 a Squadron Vehicle when they should have been in their respective TTs. So it’s not unlike them to do something like that in my opinion.
It’s definitely a limited airframe (relative to something like the F-15A or JAS39A), but I wouldn’t put it lower than the F-16As. 12.7 seems fair if it only has AIM-9Ls.
If it were to receive AIM-9Ms it would have to be 13.0 as a matter of principle.
