Next Major Update - Rumor Round-Up & Discussion (Part 1)

as much as I agree, this is Gaijin. And “unique” is code for “more work” to them.

Look at all the Indian vehicles we’ve got so far, we have had a:

  • Reskinned Vickers Mk3
  • Reskinned T-90A (minus Shtora)
  • Reskinned MiG-21bis (with better weapons and radar)
  • Reskinned Jaguar (with Magic 2s)

It’s not exactly looking great.

Not for the next update, which is the focus of this topic. For two reasons:

We just had three squadron vehicles, which are enough for 8 months of research.
A new squadron vehicle for Britain would be the 5th, which is more than US, Germany and USSR (4 squadron vehicles each). Do you think Gaijin will give Britain an edge in that category?

Valid point, considering Britiain isn’t allowed to have any edge.

Type 10 actually getting its real transmission would be amazing but that’s only possible in a dream

Type 10 getting normal handling would be way better

With the real transmission comes better handling

no it doesnt. Transmission doesnt turn the tank for you

Yes because due to the HMT the Type 10 does not have to shift down like normal tanks when turning and thus it does not loose power during gear shift

Did the HG and P1101 actualy flew? With weaponry?
If yes then we’ll surely see them at some point.

Point still stands, it’s a tank that’s had essentially no effort put into it, since it already existed. All they did was slap a reskin on, and the tank was done. Change up the ammo and sorted.

Your opinion isn’t valid

Why, he put forward a good option.
It’s like you are attacking everyone who offered their opinion, just because they are on your way of “building a great Great Britain”

Because he’s the typical US player who doesn’t want any US tech in other trees, even our Mustang so yea he lost that right imho.

He has a good point. Sub trees should be made up of indigenous designs first, then modifications of the main nations vehicles, then failing those two adding modifications of vehicles from other main nations. The Jaguar IS and Vijayanta are perfectly ok because they are Indian modifications of British vehicles. The MiG-21 Bison and T-90 Bhishma are more suited to the Russian tech tree given the fact that they are Indian modifications to Russian vehicles.

Due to the vast and diverse equipment used by the Indian armed forces it would have been much better as a whole tech tree. Indian vehicles could have even been placed across the tech trees to wherever they are suited best such as how Poland is.

Even though they are from Russians at the end of the day West or East India’s home is now in Britain.
Plus I’m solely speaking of a squadron vehicle here not tech tree there a difference

Though at that point you have to also consider that splitting up nations to multiple trees just sucks. Sure, some vehicles have priority over others, but the main point of subtrees is to not have these nations split up anymore.

Anyways, I’d prefer an Indian tree for these vehicles anyways, not because of some “X nation doesn’t deserve Y” argument, but because subtrees deserve to be their own sub-trees so they can properly represent a full nation rather than just being gap fillers.

But here, it’s more like discuss which one is a better choice, not deserve or not.
India Mig-29 is possible, but HAL Tejas can be a better choice.
It’s not a good idea yalling for everything. Not only Mig-29 in UK but others. These “this vehicle is good and strong, I want one in my TT too” things need to stop.

Who is yelling for everything ?

I only want it as a Squadron like other Indian things so unique British stuff can be for the tech tree.

What wrong about that ?

Surely more British things in the main tree is good right ?
