Next Major Update - Rumor Round-Up & Discussion (Part 1)

Hate the game, not the player
Gaijin started it quite some time ago
But it really became apparent with F-16s

I wouldn’t really even blame Gaijin here either
Why reinvent the wheel when you can buy already combat proven airframe for your air force?
Sadly, top tier is mostly going to be copy-pasta (if it isn’t already)

Except we won’t get unique British vehicles in the tech tree now. We will just be getting C&P of Russian vehicles. Guarantee the first tech tree Indian aircraft will be a Russian C&P

Id rather take the Mig-29 as an SQV so I can forget about it and never have to worry researching it and get something like the Hawk, Tornado GR4, Vulcan, whatever it may be in the TT rather than it being the other way round.

Sea Harrier FRS1 sucked to grind.

But at the same time. I would prefer literally anything else to the Mig-29 as the SQV. A lot of good options out there. I personally reckon it will be the Sea Harrier FRS51 at 13.0.

The Sub-folder idea is a good idea because it means that vehicles that couldnt be placed previously because there is something in the way could be added. Like if all of South Africa was in a sub-folder. Then Britain could actaully get a proper light tank line.

I mean since we have no Indian tech tree vehicles yet it save to say they might stay as premium\event\squadron filler

So what’s wrong with HAL Tejas or Atlas Cheetah, you don’t need to pay for Squadron Vehicles, it’s not a prem.
why are you so nervous?

Well, there still are easy copy paste options that aren’t Soviet/Russian tech.

India has/had upgraded Sea Harriers, another, more specialized Jaguar for maritime operations, Hawks, Hunters, Gnats and the Ajeet (modified Gnat), Canberras, Vampires, etc just to name their jets with British origin.

They have loads more British props, French jets and probably a boatload of British tanks, so there really is no need to add Soviet/Russian stuff.

Tbf those should be tech tree not locked away, plus didn’t gaijin said they would stop unique stuff for events ?

The Indian Jags with a Agave Radar actually sound kinda interesting and would make a good premium I reckon. Its a shame that wasnt added instead of the Mig-21 BISON.

There is a LONG list of native stuff Id prefer still though

I’m a realist not buried with my head in the sand lol

As much as I hate to admit it. What Britain needs is a super-sonic dogfighter at 11/11.3. Its one void we do have that cant be filled natively. Would be way better there than as an SQV. Also we already have an 11.0/11.3 SQV so wont be there. Cheetah as far as I am aware, wouldnt be top tier worthy like the JF-17 was.

I dont know anything about the Tejas.

The Atlas Cheetah should have taken the spot of the Bison, if the premium really had to be a fighter. Otherwise yeah, a Jaguar with a radar and some anti ship armament would have been a perfect premium.

Is it able to be 12.0/12.3 I dont know much about it but I always got the impression it would be 11.0-11.7 max.

An Atlas Cheetah with ARHs would most likely be 13.3, without ARHs probably around 11.7.

About the Tejas, well, that thing is still pretty new, so data on that is hard to get.

It had ARH?

Which missiles could it get and how many?

Germany tech tree no Me 262 Night Fighter variants

Me 262 HG I under Me 262 group ?

I don’t know battle rating of Me 262 HG I

Two R-Darters

Edit: guess it could be 13.0, forgot about the J-8F

Edit2: according to @Headnaught s suggestion for the cheetah it could carry 5, but that would definitely put it at 13.3 BR.

Tejas would be something similar to JF-17, both light fighters with 2 IR missile and 4 ARH missiles

So could be then. So probably either the Tejas or Sea harrier FRS51 at 13.0/13.3 respectively then as our next SQV.

Anyone follow Military History YT Channel?
Quiet interesting video explaining about laser range finder.
