New BR changes

I think Germany 8.7 lineup got destroyed. It would be a better choice to reduce br range to 0.7, as the problem affects ww2 tanks as well. What a jumbo is supposed to do against a tiger 2p or a jagdpanter with a 75 cannon? Same with panzer 4 vs jumbo.

And it’s funny that every post with direct criticism about gaijin gets flagged, no matter what.

Some people are just being jerks… still

ok

WW2 players complained about compression don’t worry though you will still enjoy Cold War vehicles in your games such as the BMP’s which are still in range, there is still plenty of Cold War vehicles that exist within the br ranges of ww2 vehicles.

All that has happened is another part of the tree the compression gets shoved to.
Including ruining some vehicles so that they’re not really relevant anymore such as the Caernarvon, who is gonna play that when you have the conqueror at the same br to fill the same late era niche heavy tank role. They never went through with the Chinese bmp being 8.0 whilst china also now has a 9.0 in rank V as well as all but the T-54 1947 being the same br despite the type 59 being superior to them alongside the type 69 which also exists at 8.0 (it has two plane stabiler and laser rangefinder). Vehicles like the Ratel 20 weren’t touched at all.

Many of the nations now for their 7.0-7.7 range is completely destroyed which is fun for anyone who had lineups for that range having to make new ones whilst previous vehicles unable to fight the premium 10.0 spam now have to deal with it again (previous 8.7 vehicles).

If anything this update has proved Gaijin with more sales of their 10.0 Premiums to absolutely curb stomp everything that got moved up the 9.0

I spend 10 seconds thinking about how to better solve the problem, which is probably longer than Gaijin did:

Take everything from BR 7 to top tier, increase everything by 2 BRs making them BR 9.
WW2 is no longer compressed and nothing else is screwed up in the process, and now you also have room to move 6.7 to 7.3 and decompress those BRs with the higher performing vehicles moved to 7.7, whilst at 9.0 you have room to decrease the BRs of underperforming vehicles.

All whilst nothing else is negatively affected.

I’d like to see a .5 BR bracket. that would allow for much more fine tuning of vehicles. 1.0, 1.3, 1.5, 1.7, 2.0 and so on.

so they are getting hidden and message received " flagged by the community" because no-one is flagging them?

Riiiiggghhtt…

Is it you?

Decompression progress is good regardless of if it’s done at once or over time.
Not sure why you want to wait longer for ANY change rather than just take.
Not sure why you’re denying the facts decompression happened.

@Mixer7782

7.0 - 11.0 got moved up by 0.3 & 0.7 respectively.
There are no problems elsewhere, things are decompressed.

Yeah, I’m flagging my own comments. Just think about what is going on.

There were no 10.0 premiums.
All the 9.7 premiums were moved up to 10.0.
All the 10.0 premiums were 9.7 before the change.

The point remains the same

It did not happend… it just moved else where…
You cant fix a whole in pipe and poke another one while at it and call it FIX

Yes, 7.0 - 11.0 was moved up by 0.3 & 0.7 to 7.3 - 11.7.
That is what decompression is. That has what everyone but you has been asking for.

Yes, we all asked for half the TT to be ruined and compressed in place of WW2.

Decompression is when you increase max BR so you have wider field to balance out vehicles.
If you put 50 people in the bus that is good for 40 you cant just move some of them to the front and some of them to the back and call it a day. You just need a bigger bus to fit all of them.
If you thinking that it is okay that Mig 21Bis have to go against F-16, F-14 or MIG-29, or T-54(1951)/Leo 1 against Type 16 (2016 tank btw with 3rd gen thermals) then there is no point talking with you since you are in denial. Only players that dont go over WW2 tanks era can call it a decompression.

There was zero compression.
11.0 was TOP BR, T-80BVM was 11.0 8 - 9 months ago.
T-80BVM is 11.7 now and nothing else was moved.
IPM1 stayed at 10.7 even though 11.0 was moved to 11.7.
Everything else from 7.0 to 11.0 moved up as well which is decompression.

@KotisD
11.7 is the new ceiling, 11.0 was the old ceiling.
The maximum BR was raised from 11.0 to 11.7.
This is fact, decompression occurred.

Why are you arguing against decompression?

Then yes, now NO

It’s still decompression because 11.7 is higher than 11.3 & 11.0.

11.7 is not the new BR, we had that already, they now pushed a bunch of things from 8.7 to 9.0 to 9.3 without moving those 10 and 10.3 upwards, that’s compression, I wasn’t facing Leopard 2A4s, M1 Abrams in my formerly 8.3, then 8.7 then 9 and 9.3 lineup before.
