Again, it takes time to analyze vehicles, and back then WT ground was already the most decompressed game in the industry.
There were also FAR less vehicles to justify it.
HEATFS wasn’t a major thing.
Actually yeah, 7 years ago it makes no sense since HEATFS wasn’t on everything, or possibly anything, yet.

The difference between anything WW2 and Cold war is significant, it’s a complete change in doctrine.
In 2016 you had ATGMs, IT-1s, RakJpz, Jpz 4-5, Leopard 1, M103, IS-4M.
They have plenty of time, they already take years to change anything, it makes no sense this suddenly had to happen now after ignoring the issue year after year after year after year after year after year, they could easily have taken another year to actually sort this out than give us this garbage that slightly helps a few tanks at 6.0 and 6.3 and screws literally everything else.

Actually Centauro on 9.0 now, just try to imagine it against LAV AD or something else on full uptier. Even Leo on 9.3 now. Its much harder to play against russian tanks. But not that thing is that bad, if you played on 8.7 and somehow you getting to uptier you can meet Ocelot, Strela and others, when your airplane on 8.7, so now I need to switch to 9.0 where you don’t have heats to defend yourself also. Whats the point, airplane in ground battles are more useless on uptier now.

Cause 0.5 BR isn’t necessary.
The 1.0 matchmaking system works fine.
Decompression is superior to changing the matchmaker since BRs have to change in either system regardless.
No, they haven’t had plenty of time.
They had an indication of what the end vehicles looked like as early as 2020, and started doing analysis in 2022, which is how we got our first decompression December-Jan 2022-2023.
6.7 is benefited, 7.7 is benefited.
Reloads were buffed because their BRs increased and they were already on the edge of their previous BRs.

How is a .5 BR not necessary?
I wonder when the BMP-2M is going to get its BR increased, since now both the PUMA and M3A3 are at 10.0 with it while lacking its massively superior AGM/AAM capabilities
im pretty sure the leopard 1 and t54 1949 are both moving up 0.7 br as for the 1951 t54 idk about that it seems much better than the leopard or the t54s before it since it gets heatfs and is stabilized but they are moving it up to the same br thats gaijin logic i guess, i do wonder how the 1947 t54 is gonna do at 7.7 though
Dude like making these changes is only good if they make them all at once, not fix one to destroy another.
Adding BR 12+ would help since that would decompress BR, not just move problem into other br range.

Thats what ive been saying i think that while it will fix 6.3-6.7 it will cause problems elsewhere
They must move everything but like that that in previous BR everything was, nobody wants to play against this vehicles which they never saw on their previous BR.
For example, OF-40 (MTCA), it even doesn’t have termal… but now its on 9.0 … sounds really sad

Leopard 1 - Winrate 50% - K/D 1.57
T-54 1949 - Winrate 49% - K/D 1.44
So it was slightly underperforming compared to the Leopard 1.
They both went from 7.3 to 8.0.
But the T-54 got a reload increase from 7 to 8 RPM, and on top of that it also got a Heat shell added as bonus, fail to see the justification.
yeah the t54 reloads for 11.1s and the leopard 1 for 8.7s i never really had a problem with the longer reload though dont see why it needs changing
