Nerf AIM-120A/B

ah the belgian

you have 6 aim 9M so you’re a 3rd party beast, a gun for turnfights and a mighty good airframe to enable turnfighting.

not like there isn’t free food at your BR either

clearly if you know better you shouldn’t be crying about this

AND HOW do you suppose one would GET INTO POSITION to USE SAID MISSILES? They WON’T be doing this by NOTCHING! (You will catch the first AIM-9M fired at you.)

Nobody is crying.

The planes you listed as “food” besides the sea harrier are better jets than you in the meta btw.

I am looking forward to having the Sea Harrier FA2 at 12.0 because AMRAAM are defeated by just flying low to the ground

Surely this will be an intelligent topic full of proper discussion, that doesn’t involve any sort of bias…

No ARH missiles (excluding the Phoenix) should be buffed or nerfed until Gaijin properly decompresses the BRs.

don’t fly into the middle of the map, learn how to flank and third party. Its not that hard, in fact its extremely easy to do so

you are.

a phantom is not better than a F16 lmfao

the SU33 is more agile but generally not a very good plane just like all the other flanker style airframes

Looking forward to the FA2 at 12.0 when Mpathing becomes unrealistic because you can just mow the grass to win like this is starfox or some lameass arcade flying game

Ain’t that convenient that Gaijin decided to add a better missile despite compression, and we got no criticism from your end regardless?

Neat! And when somebody fires an ARH at you and decides to push you? Or when games end before you even see combat because games end in about 2 minutes after first contact in current meta?

About? MP isn’t being removed. You are the one crying for its removal. Get a clue.

You are clueless as to what the meta actually is. You didn’t even know this f* F-16 existed 15 minutes ago. I’m done talking to you lmao

True. I’ve been able to notch stuff that was fired 6km away from me in a phantom. You can also abuse multipathing to easily force WVR stuff.

However, you can still cause pressure on other players by forcing them to dodge, which gives an advantage to your team. It’s what the EFT and F-15s do the best, and it’s why the F-14s are where they are.

This is a 1v1 situation, not what you find most times in ARB. The guy you are firing on is also possibly notching missiles fired from differnent aspects and can’t manage both if he isn’t playing at “larping” distances. Or hes on the ground in MP trying to use that to stop you from hitting him when you launched from orbit, while also being in combat with everyone else that decided to play like that.

If you are playing at a safe distance its not a problem, it sucks that it might force you to reset the fight completely, but if your team hasn’t collapsed you can reset without being ran down.

Im still not anywhere near a pro air player, but I don’t see how climbing, trying to win the fight at altitude, and if you do, doesn’t put you in a prime position for the match, vs lawnmowing and knife fighting other players on the deck, you will be food if your team loses the fight at altitude to the other teams plays up there unless you manage to get directly below them and spike them, which is going to require you to come out of MP to do so and if you are playing inside these furballs that’s going to get you killed by other players near you on the deck.

Spamming threads totaly not gonna go wrong

YES which is HELPFUL towards MY POINT because the point is while you are flying at 6km, all it takes is 1 guy to come from an off angle at the same time somebody else comes from a different angle and you won’t be able to defend. Meanwhile, if you were just multipathing… you could have notched AND multipathed… it’s a double layered defense that you do not have at altitude.

The same applies to you! How is this not understood?

You use BOTH defense mechanisms…

If you are a “safe distance” you are also just praying the other guy is a monkey and doesn’t try to defend against your ARH.

It’s balanced out by R-77-1s being on a heavier, and less powerful flanker, and the fact that they aren’t the best in every single category. I was just saying that with the current state of the game. New missiles could come, but they would need to be balanced properly with decompression (or by being on a worse airframe than others)

With a couple exceptions, 13.7/14.0 is surprisingly balanced and there is a lot of parity between nations.

you have chaff and know how to evade missiles no?

flanking =/= flying around the map border to their airfield. join the fight half a minute after first merges and you will be fine

you didn’t understand what multipathing was 15 mins ago

childish

well done editing calling me a peasant, shame I caught it

it’s not.

but in range, speed and turn covers short and even medium ranges reliably better than 120s on a platform that it’s way more suited for the current ARB setup than any other airframe atm with 14 missiles and 12 ARH + PESA.

now that’s a more acceptable way to put it.

+1.

I wish I could turn off general discussion so I don’t have to see this rage bait everyday, forums these days are wild

At this point I’m just gonna agree to disagree.

He got almost 500 posts on that last one, maybe we will break 500 this time. These posts wouldn’t happen if they didn’t work, or WT forum users didn’t love to turn every thread into infinite tangents or nation bias discussion (myself included).

Quick, catch this 9M because you’re flying at 5km side on to me.

I am VERY aware of what flanking is. Even MODERATE flanking will lead to games being over before you can engage targets. Which one of us has been spading pure IR based platforms at 12.3-13.0 for the past month? Is it you or me?

Do you just say shit to say it? Like no logic or thought between the ears?

You are no better.

this I have to agree with to an extent, however those below 13.7 have a bad time. a bit more of a gap is needed
