So what you’re saying is that you want the amazing NATO equipment to get an increase in BR and that the flying dumpster soviet planes should get reductions in BR? That’s what I’m hearing you saying. BRs are supposed to be based off of aircraft performance and not years of introduction after all.

There are still plenty of trees on the maps that are equal in size to the statue of liberty. Go try flying into the tops of some and check your radar altimeter. Some are at least 40+m tall. Multipathing may start at 60, but the effect doesn’t get strong enough to seriously defeat missiles until the ~50m mark. The giant trees reduce the multipathing height to an effective 10m on a lot of maps since you only have the sliver of height between the treetops and 50m to work with.

In SB at the very least. I can happily average 100ft on every map in something like the tornado Gr4. And in RB I’ve never felt that it was impossible to stay all that low.

Though should just learn to terrain mask and notch+chaff rather than only using MP

Multipahing is just one tool in the toolbox, but really gaijin should have an intern spend an afternoon fixing their map assets. They’re objectively not scaled correctly.

Potentially, but i digress. If gaijin adds a new vehicle it should be accurate to real life and if proven wrong through bug reports they should fix them, altough types of ordnance should be limited in certain conditions.

No more dual racks for the Sukhoi. I don’t think that somebody will enjoy an F-15C with the AMBER. That would come to around 16 AMRAAMs?

Like being stuck with Aim-9M as a placeholder on the typhoon is annoying enough. But it having a lock range too short to actually make proper use of the weapon is extra annoying

Perhaps, but I do still think there is an over expectation for MP to be a magical shield of defence.

Even if tree were massively scaled down, people would complain about MP being set to it’s correct heights (Skyflash for example would be 33m and that’s not even MP but prox fuse triggering on the ground)

idk about this one. with how the gamemode is set up right now I would rather have MP to deprive spammer of their missile and force them to dogfight. i’d rather have MP back again for this reason because top tier gameplay has become so stale it actually makes me stick to lower BR. Remove multipath when air RB is not about being a fake deathmatch again and i’ll support it.

Hot take: lower multipath makes for better dogfights because it filters the shitters that lose in 2 turns anyways

The R-77 issue is allegedly (i don’t really know if its the case) a software limitation regarding its drag coef. and how its dynamic depending if the missile is sub or supersonic. The rest of specs are accurate[citation needed] as they can be.
Gaijin didn’t even found a way to fix it, they just decided to release the 77-1 with an overkill amount of booster and tracking time (to compensate) when compared to the rest of missiles.

You think they’re gimped? Try the Derbys or Darters sometime.

The problem is the aircraft which are dependent on their SARH/ARH weapons for their current BR and cannot dogfight.

Such as the tornado F3 or sea harrier FA2. Should the FA2 be 12.0 because with MP “forcing it to dogfight” it’s a weaker Harrier Gr7?

Lol no , lmao even. Expecting people to actually try to dogfight at top tier is like expecting premium jet player to learn how to play the damn jet instead of basebombing. Literally no one want to dogfight on top tier for many reason. The way gaijin forced top tier into the game make it anti-dogfight as shit , sure you can have the occasional dogfight here and there but for 90% of the time ? You be throwing AAM around to kill as much people as possible in the shortest amount of time. Trying to have a dance with someone on top tier is asking to be AAM in one way or another

Yeah I know but he asking for MP to be lower for that reason is just bad. Literally everyone in the world trying to BVR ( Even the russian despite them being shit at it , they trying tho but god know when they will catch up with the west). I think MP should stay at it is , considering at the start of the game you will be dealing with multiple Fox-3 firing your way

I personally want it lowered to IRL levels on a missile by missile basis. Though I mostly play SB.

Imo, fox3s biggest issue in ARB is one of the map design rather than actually anything with the fox3s themselves. Everyone taking off from a single point and flying in a cluster in a straight line is a perfect kill box for them.

That being said, at least from what I’ve seen of the early fox3 volleys in ARB, I don’t know why anyone is using multipathing to defend against those volleys
