Hello everyone,
With the recent event about naval compartments, some players have pointed out that the reward system doesn’t seem very fair.
We need to rework that reward system too.
In my case, this is the biggest issue in battleships regular battles and that’s why i stopped playing them.
Spoiler

Stona mentioned that the compartment reward is only a small fraction of the final earnings.
However, I believe this is 50% true and 50% false — and here’s why:
- ✅ If you destroy the entire enemy ship by damaging compartments, he’s right.
- ❌ But if you sink the ship by detonating its shell room, the situation changes completely.
In that case, all the reward goes to the last player who hits, regardless of who did most of the damage.
Is that fair? Obviously not.
I even made a bug repport about it. But the answer was: “Not a bug.”

Guess who stole the kill?
Spoiler

Players in naval battles really dislike this “last-hit kill” mechanic because it means that players who do all the work get no reward.
As the screenshot shows, I received no points for sinking an enemy ship, even though I caused most of the damage.
A single kill is normally worth:
- 2,500 damage points
- ≈ 300 score points
In this example, you can clearly see that I only received 124 damage points and 42 score points. Really far from what Stona mentioned above.
That’s a huge loss in the final rewards.
I think rewards should be distributed based on critical hit, not the final hit:
- Ammo rack explosion – Highest priority
- Ship sunk by shell room explosion – Medium priority
- Total crew killed – Lower priority
But never simply to the player who lands the last hit.
That system is not rewarding for the players who actually do the work.
But never to the last hit kill. This is not rewarding players.
