My money is being wasted by 1 death leavers

Well aren’t you the War Accountant tycoon…

What if in the same time period they made 8m? 10?

With how badly the game is the strange thing is that everyone does not leave the game after a death.

Its like a quiet revolt/protest against Gaijin or something…

Definitely creeping into tier 3 and 4 where I play. There has to be an advantage for the folks that do it, habitually, and I don’t see repair costs as that; certainly not at tier 3.

Dynamic repair cost fixed any SL issues for me. For good players, it must be like winning the lottery.

Sure. If people just want to grind one module in one vehicle, then fielding a lineup is a waste of time for them. With planes, you go RB, which does the job very well. But what can you do with tanks?

This supports my theory: In lower tiers, modules are quickly grinded.

You could do this for all vehicles. You don’t need to limit it to premiums. In fact, by just extending it to all unspaded vehicles, it would take me from the ODL list.

I agree with you as far as RP are concerned, but I don’t quite see how ODLing a losing battle will curb your income?

But ODLing will just give you more of the same. This is what happens, if you take a newb and a 60$ premium and mix them.

Not if they aren’t getting one shotted within the first minute of the match.
Newbs in 1.0 don’t ODL because most of the time they think they have a competitive chance and/or do well enough to respawn in. I don’t think its about repair costs at all, but the enjoyment factor and the notfeelinglikeImbeingscrewed factor.

I know a lot comes down to personal experience and personal baggage but I have noticed collapsing of games at most mid to low tiers (using up lots of unused free repairs on old premiums), just not as quickly (takes longer to get that first contact).

So though I doubt it is as egregious in low tiers it still appears to be a thing, usually the one team doing more than go one cap holding longer.

Watching entire tier 1 teams getting wiped by some lvl100 ahole in a premium will do that.

They do but they don’t care. In a game you play to have fun, not to apply basic maths and sit on millions of SL.
The moment you’re not having fun, you pass to the next battle.

So its perfectly fine for one group to ruin the experience for others, but not perfectly fine for the other group to damage the experience for them?

Cool argument. Double standards the whole way around.

Spawn camping wouldnt be a anywhere near as much a problem if people stuck around and the team who got the first few kills didnt automatically win because you idiots all left the match. And even with that its nowhere as bad a problem as you make it out to be.

I spent most of my time playing under ~7.0, and find its not that common there. Maybe 10% of the time at most. Many people will fight to the bitter end and its caused many of the closest and most exciting nail biter games Ive played.

The higher above 7.0 you go, the more common it gets. Above 9.0 it starts becoming epidemic. Its not just premium players, its everyone. At top tier probably 3/4 of the games I play are just 5 minute long 1DL induced steamrolls. Playing at that BR is frankly a complete waste of time and effort.

Doesn’t matter how much you spend, you will NEVER be entitled to one second more of my time than I choose to spend in a match. And no, I’m not spawning a 2nd time into full uptier 11.0 Poland. Frankly it is offensive that I am obliged to spawn even once. You should be paying ME.

I mean if you want to not play the game that badly, theres a handy uninstall button for you

The reason is odl lowers you win chance for starters as well as lowers your time in battle, both contribute to your earnings. Then there is the fact if you spawn in, do baly and lose money or make very little your stuck with that loss. You might have done rubbish with your first spawn but you might get 10 kills with your second or third. The battle isn’t over until the tickets are gone and u til then quitting only ensures your loss stays a loss.

ODLeavers are playing the game though, cope and seethe.
They’re just not mandated to play it in the way that YOU want.

It’s a multilayer team game. The team part is important, if it was called free for all the you might have a point. But you don’t. Your obligation to contribute is in the games design and you agree to that by playing it. If you don’t want to be a useful member of the team then try single player games or ffa mode in call of duty.

Nobody is obligated to stick around longer than they want to, by virtue of the fact that the game allows you to leave whenever you want.

Cry me a river with your mental gymnastics.

It is not a team game. Only personal success is heavily incentivized. The teamplay mechanics are tertiary at best.

Theoretically a team game, but mostly just team deahtmatch anywhere outside of squadron battles. And even then…

Also the ODLers are irrelevant in the outcome of a game because statistically the MM is going to put an average number of them on both sides.

This is sadly how it feels, by the end of a few matches i feel like i wasted my time, jump to another nation and see but its just the same result.
