My money is being wasted by 1 death leavers

To be clear the spawn snipe isnt my complaint, it happens but its more of not having a team after such a short time and making it easy for them that kills me.

This is part of why id like to see a game mode for people who want to play a single tank, i dont want people forced into games they dont like.
I just also feel that its really making it close to impossible to enjoy higher BR matches at this point.

You guys seem to forget in these ODL posts mainly that there is alot of ppl certainly who dont read patch notes or not even aware of the new changes about repaircost/minute lived. Dynamic repair cost as to say. Ive just talked 2-3different persons in 1-2days who werent aware of it for example. There was guy who simply didnt want to spawn to risky situation, worrying about possible loss in thousands for a tank. Thats when i told him. Its reasonable and think alot of ppl also behave it. Im sure its 1reason for this.

Dynamic repair cost made me to try/lose more vehicles to get more inputs in match ,even tho if it means me losing whole lineup. There are times tho, there is absolutely no sense to spawn at all. Thats different than 1Death leaving. I think premium vehichle is big reason too, prolly alot of ppl go play 1 tier having that only vehicle to spawn. Did once spectate a kid who did this… I always bring full line up myself, its the way of war i wanna go with… But some ppl just wanna try higher stuff, certian BR i guess…

Why is your enjoyment more important than the enjoyment of those leaving after one death?

Contrary to what some edgelords around here believe, you can be “bad” at playing the game (or just in need to learn) and still have correct opinions about it.

If we organise a football match among friends, and one of us doesn’t show up so the teams are uneven, I’m allowed to point out that’s meh and it unevens the teams even if I’m bad at football. This isn’t professional sports, we’re here to have fun.

You’ve said it many times, and that doesn’t prove anything. There are a million reasons for people to 1DL. I try not to, but sometimes the frustration takes the better of me, and I do it, even if I shouldn’t… but in no circumstance was that ever related to the economy. Ever. So either way that economy change never had an impact on my match participation.

You can’t “fix the reason why people 1DL” because there is no singular reason, but any potential iteration of reasons you can think of. The only way to “fix” 1DL in the sense that it is completely eliminated from the game, is to restructure the game modes RB and SB in a way that 1DL is no longer possible. Since this would undercut the profitability of premiums unless we literally switch to “one-life” models, it will never happen. So you’re left with incentives and disincentives that will only give you partial solutions at best.

You could allow premiums to respawn, as it is possible for new nations without tree. Not sure though if this would help the case of premium ODL.

Yes, of course, but I meant more generally. People 1DL for all sorts of reasons, not just because they’ve bought a new premium and have no lineup to support it. So, there is no way to holistically “fix” 1DL as a whole, without restructuring the game modes. What you can do is target some of the more common or easily identifiable reasons (like the one you cited), and use incentives and disincentives to reduce the frequency of 1DL.

The problem is also elsewhere, as i know lot of non premium players doing ODL aswell.

This whole ODL issue doesn’t seem to be a problem at lower tiers. It becomes an issue with upper tiers where more things can kill you from far away and most often there is nothing you can do about it. Luck of the draw, you get picked or not. Maps offer no cover from death from above, fire and forget weapons make multiple kills possible before you’re killed, using hill top for cover in a heli offers protection ground vehicles just don’t have in most maps.
If the issue isn’t lower tiers then ask yourself, what is the common denominator? Would appear not player based, players from the same population at lower tiers don’t ODL? So what would cause a player who doesn’t ODL at 5.7 BR but to ODL at higher BR? I have my suspicions but those thots are very unpopular with upper tier players doing well.

They are playing the game, seethe more.
Nobody is mandated to stick around at the expense of their own enjoyment just so you can enjoy spawn-camping them or bombing them.

If someone enjoyment is dependent on other players playing it specific way… well good luck. Especially in game where you play with random people and one tank lineup without backups is valid lineup.

ODL players just found a way to enjoy game without significant frustration so good for them.

I personally switched to one tank lineup after finding out it is way more fun than playing full line up. I can enjoy vehicle I want to play. CAS is just one time issue per match. On winter maps I just yolo rush caps so I do not have to play them for long. I do not have to deal with spawn killers. Just go into battle and get as many kills as possible before game turns into Air RB, then get obliterated by CAS and move to next battle.

The only way I would go back to full lineup would be by introducing some sort of EC event for ground RB or adding tank-only mode with improvements to maps to make spawn killing next to imposible.

There is a confirmation screen when you try to leave a match while you still have vehicles or spawn points left. If they’ve been told to do it, its because there is a specific benefit to doing so. Aggregate grind points per minute of grind, etc. If you watch some 1 and outers, they have very botty behavior.

In low and mid tiers, I spawn a lot because I know it’s possible to come back and win the game as it happens many times but in high tier come back is impossible for me. The way I died will tell me that enemy team is full of no life hardcore players, and I found it no fair to play against them. Skill based match making can fix this.

Agree. This is anoying, stressful, rigged and ***** up. 3-4 of these 1 death leavers turn the battle instantly into a spawn battle, just like Mahd1378 said. Broken matches.

Odl fail to understand the economy, basic maths and how playing the objectives and sticking the battle out to the end results in better profits of rp and sl.

The changes only make it worse. I still see people complaining the economy is broken and I can’t make money… HOW? The new changes on all levels only encourage the unaware players to play worse. The new faster you die the less your repair bill, though good on the serface, just encourages players to be more reckless and try to make the most sl in the shortest time. The rest of their logic hasn’t changed so they still leave early just now they are rewarded for doing it even faster.

The GAME is broken. They leave because games are unbalanced. The MM throws new players against high level ones with the inevitable outcome that all they do is pad the clubber’s stats. And then there is uptiers. And that Gaijin doesn’t do anything against scripted bots and aimbot cheaters. This is exaggerated in top tier, but it occurs all the way down to 1.0.

Highly doubt it. I can do math and my math is I made 6 million profit this last 4 days of play in ground Rb even after buying about 3million in new vehicles I unlocked.
