By that I mean switching between getting ACM locks, or maintaining any locks in general without letting your lock get notched. ARH doesn’t require manual guidance which is quite lovely.

Yeah… The higher the BR of the F-14A/F-14B, the better, but it needs to be competitive.
As for the F-14A, it still has no problem moving to 12.0BR, but it suffers against almost all aircraft with 12.3BR and above, so it needs to have AIM-9L to be able to compete with them.
It is just ridiculous that 12.0BR plane stucking at rear-aspect missiles.

All this cry about not being able to dodge dogshit missile lol. Pre multipath change, it was just afk check missile, it still is now. You can see flying Phoenixes to you across entire map. There is tons of time to notch and chaff, or simply turn around to like 5sec,then turn back,they will never hit you. Had F-15 dodge them when launched at 5km due to how bad the missile pulls.

F-104S ASA having an RWR that only tells you youre being painted 0.3 BR lower:
At least F-14A gives you all directions, and doesnt just give you a range like the Soviet garbage.
