Fuel consumption decreases IMMENSELY while thrust remains decently high.

Graphs are:

1st:

The “loops” are because of throttling up and throttling down.

You are encouraged to test it locally.

Primary take away:

At 100% throttle:

You burn 360 kg/min for 1000 kgf thrust

At 55% throttle:

You burn ~110 kg/min for ~620 kgf thrust.

You burn a third of the amount of fuel for 2/3 thrust still.

which comes with the ability to literally force a turnfight even if an opponent is 3km above you, and if things get bad just throttle up and leave everything in the dust, also It literally can’t run out of energy.
that and you can add that it can keep +600km/h on 20% power.

Me 163B and B-0 are 8.0 and 8.3 BR. Both has 3 min fuel and 3x less climb rate. So BI could be even 8.0 as well. Less fuel BUT much more speed, Me 163 has a little bit more fuel, but much less acceleration.

So BI should be 8.0/3 or Me 163B / B-0 6.7 instead of 8.0/8.3.

So BI is similar to ME 163B / B-0 which are 8.0 and 8.3 and they still are slower and has similar fuel consumption despite more fuel?

Just to add, ALL rocket aircraft have insanely better fuel efficiency then their irl counterpart.
Specifically the BI has the fuel efficiency of iirc a nuclear ion thruster. (It should Only have 2 minutes to do really anything with having full throttle be its max fuel efficiency)

What makes it so good while the other rocket planes aren’t yelled at for being broken is im pretty sure BI can reach/quickly accelerate to its top speed at a very low throttle. The other rocket friends can also fly for a long time at low throttle but they really need like quite more than 50 throttle to break fast the 500-600 kph range if I remember right. When the ki 200 and 163 abuse low throttle to last they are a slow and easy target unlike BI

Also Ki 200 is 8.3 and Me 163 B/B-0 are 8.0/8.3 when BI is 6.7. Still BI has MUCH more acceleration and THREE TIMES better climb rate.

So BI is still better than KI and Me 163 and it’s 6.7 no 8.0/8.3 xdd

BI HAVE TO BE moved to 8.0/8.3 as Ki-200 and Me 163

100% agree.

These 30mm cannon are uber trash, there is even no point to compare, these 20mm cannons on BI are 100x better despite less ammo.
That 30mm has more ammo, but bullet drop makes them UBER hard to aim accurately.

There is no single thing better on Ki-200 / Me 163, but these are 8.3 and much better BI is 6.7. It’s ridiculous.

BI deserve to 8.3 then and still it would be VERY STRONG jet.

Tbh Ki -200 / Me 163 should be lower BR than BI, because BI is better in EVERY case and has TRIPLE climb rate.

At 40% throttle the fuel lasts like 8 times longer already EDIT: it seems I was kinda wrong, weird, but it looks like it goes down 6 times only. I guess I did not count seconds properly, oh well. I thought it goes only 4 times up at 50%, . And at 1:20s fuel at 40% throttle you still outperform everything by a mile and the less fuel, the more you outperform them.

Simplest solution is to simply avoid props, dead BR, awful teams, so. many. TKs. Jets are better.

Yeah, rocket motors in warthunder have exponential fuel consumption relatove to throttle. So do the komets and ki-200

Gaijin really should fix that. I’m fairly certain even infinitely throttlable hypergolic rocket engines have a minimum fuel burn rate just to start the hypergolic fuel reaction.

Nothing in the game should be having the fuel efficiency of a NSW Rocket with relativistic exhaust velocity.

IRL rocket motors are generally less efficient at lower than main throttle. As they’re generally designed to operate at a specific pressure to maximize the gains made from convergent / divergent de Laval nozzles.
