Which is why I am against adding 7P’s for Japan… yes it would be nice but we would be no different to them
Buddy we already got Frankenstein F16AJ in the first place and Thai Gripen.
Japan already lost its uniqueness in that case.
Funny how Thai Gripen still remains best CAS option for Japan…
F-16AJ now with the implementation of the F-2 can be replaced by the F-2A Early (noticed in the datamines J/APG-1 was added as a text string aka the earlier radar for the F-2)
Thai gripen… yea i dont wanna touch that thing
Japan should get the GCS-1 however gaijin is holding it back for some bogus reasoning
Well I already did since it was the best option to gain F&F capabilities, unless you wanna use Frankenstein OCU.
Japans domestic > Thai copy paste. in my own personal opinion
if gaijin finally implements the GCS-1 it wont “fix” japans cas issue per say however it will drastically help
If gaijin doesn’t give us F&F options then sadly I’ll take Thai Gripen.
Very understandable, rn im learning how to use the LJDAM’s and the new glide ones as an alternative, till they finally add the GCS-1 (if they ever do)
I’m also planning to do that, I unlocked my F-2 yesterday and grinded some modules but due to my exam process halted.
Once I get back home I will spade it and will try to do the same.
I gotta spade the TADS and F-2 x) wish ur exams go well!
Not anymore, F-2A has glide GPS bombs as well, which low altitude GPS strikes is likely the next effective CAS tactic due to new SPAA.
IR AGMs are still semi-useful, but you put yourself into instant danger using them.
Glad to see you got the F-2A as well. I start my spading shortly.
Thanks mate:)
I plan to use the GNSS for the Laser 62’s for a quick lock and fire, to reposition and reguide incase the spaa move
kinda similar to bomb tossing, I think this’ll be the best method to operate the LJDAM’s on the F-2A
That’s false go tò the F14 thread where they explained why the F14B didn’t get those.
We already got plenty examples, if F-14-15 or 16 didnt get it’s because gajin didn’t want to.
Simple is that.
Change your game settings, GPU settings, and/or monitor settings.
The colors are correct.
Default War Thunder has always been less vibrant than it should be and has nothing to do with F-2A.
Ah, yes, I, have to change my settings because the devs don’t bother using [Saturation + ; luminosity -]
Even on your screens the colors are far from right
(The fake as hell F16 AJ have more accurate blue paint.)
As I said, the default vibrancy of the client is low and impacts all environments of the game.
I don’t use the settings in those two screenshots myself, cause my monitor itself is tuned for games to increase vibrancy a bit, which does not show up on screenshots.
The skins themselves outside of the client tend to be accurate, and you can hex identify them too if you load a texture into your favorite image editor.
Your monitor is likely color inaccurate. The monitor I use is even color inaccurate despite being rather good for its type.
My laptop’s monitor is horrifically color inaccurate.
If you want to see how accurate War Thunder really is with colors, you need a color accurate monitor as well.
Interestingly they got it right for the 6TFS 60th anniversary camo.
Would be nice to see all of them corrected to use these shades as well.
I think these show the internal inconsistencies quite well. The 3TFS camo is especially faded compared to the default, and the dark blue appearing greyish even when color corrected in post FX.
But for the time being, what settings do you use? That default camo actually looks really good this way.
