I couldn’t tell you, I used different quick settings for both separately as a proof of concept cause I only have contrast active and haven’t meddled with PostFX since 2020.
A color accurate monitor that’s good for gaming is on a to buy list.
Either way it’s deep blues on my current monitor for the desktop, and on my laptop that’s horrifically color inaccurate the color is different.

Not even spaded the F-2 completely, but I can already say it’s a very potent plane even in air battles. You might find the number of ARH missiles as a big minus, but for me who used the same loadout on the F-15, it’s not an issue at all. You have to play a bit more tactically and can’t just spam missiles at everything you see, but it’s totally fine. The turn performance is really good too and the lack of HMD is not such an issue.
What I do have a bit of an issue with is that the radar seems bugged. Whenever I go from TWS to the visual range lock mode, it just randomly locks something instead.

I guess I avoid this bug by accident because I always manually turn the radar on and off before going into ACM mode. Generally I try to keep the radar off so as to be more stealthy.
Really good. It keeps up with the Top 2 (Rafale/EFT) and slightly edges out the Gripen, but that basically makes it so that you’re either on even footing or just better than everything in a dogfight. Honestly surprised this FM made it from dev to live with little changes considering many other planes have had far worse fates
Is the F-2 not able to carry double or triple zuni pods?
At leasts in other aircraft the double/triple zuni pods use the same adapter as the double GBUs or triple FFARs, both of which the F-2 has

There wasn’t any HMD on any F-2 (because at the moment non sources claiming testing of HMD was found)
Let’s just hope Gaijin eventually gives us the GCS-1 as that would increase the air to grouns capability by A LOT.
Unfair that Russia gets fire and forget long range air to ground missiles but Japan can’t get IR bombs. Reminds me of Brimstones which got artificially nerfed since Gaijin considered the fire and forget capability as too strong… too strong my ass, at least Brimstones need a direct hit unlike the Kh-38s.

Why don’t you use 4x aim120 + 4x aam4 instead? Or just with 1 or 2 IR missiles in the mix if you really want those. You’ll see that your effectiveness will improve with more radar missiles if you know how to position yourself.
It might be worth checking if you have any conflicts in your binds.

If they’re like me, prefer not to use non-domestic weapons. But also, IR missiles are slept on a lot because if someone is notching your radar missile, they’re in perfect position for AAM-3/AIM-9M and AAM-3 has good range (easy to hit up to 6-7 km) and at least with F-2 you don’t want to BVR anyway.

The Japanese don’t put ARH missiles on the wing pylons so neither will I.

TER pylons with zunis are missing from many planes in game (well over a dozen). Gaijin simply doesnt wanna add them for some reason even though they’re compatable.

The right one is an ECM antenna. The top one we do not know what is, some sources say its a MAWS, most say its another ECM antenna.
We do know of a JP MAWS in service that we dont know which jet its for, the J/APQ-4. (The F-15J has the J/APQ-1). But as we dont know we can’t confirm that it is or is not on the F-2.

ASM-2 (also ASM-1) is now truely piece of SXXT, I wonder how gaijin made it.
Currently, it is practically of no use in the game…
