I hope it’s another vehicle because I want an F-2 at a lower BR.
They’re talking about the Type 81C, not the F-2
Are the chances of it releasing with the AAM-5 zero?
Little to zero changes
i dont think so, if it will have aam-5 and aam-4b it may come later version with jet like Super Hornet
Oh. Yeah then it should be added to the current one.
I like having it be separate instead, since it’s not just the ARH missile but also multi-vehicle mechanics.
This way the current Type 81 (C) can also stay at a lower BR (and hopefully move down again too), while the version with full radar search and datalink is at a higher BR.
I just hope you get both missile types on the multi-vehicle one, but if not I have a report preared already anyways.
They should add the ARH to the existing Type 81 and make an early version either on the earlier version based on an early Type 73 truck. That or add a Type 81(B) since the Light wave sight has none of the functions it does IRL and isn’t necessary for the IR missile.
As it stands though the best SAM for Japan will be locked behind a premium which should be unacceptable for how much utility SAMs provide. Imagine the riots if the 2A7 was a premium and Germany was stuck with the 2A6 as their best MBT in the TT
Guys… please.
No :)
jokes aside
I wonder what ordinance they’ll give the F-2A given its leaked n all
Right, I forgot where I was ^^
Back on topic, I hope we can see XF-2B 004 in game. The first F-2 to actually mount J/APG-1 AESA radar, and with that the worlds first AESA fighter. Also the first armed F-2
Also another first of this aircraft was being the first to mount an astromech droid.
Im sure one of the XF-2s will be a premium
Maybe a leak of flying F-2
Spoiler
us when we get the F-2A
Maybe the user model?
Ah yes, the horizontal turns at the end sure do look legit.
100% the user model from WT.Live, just recorded… and in VHS quality.
This way the current Type 81 (C) can also stay at a lower BR (and hopefully move down again too), while the version with full radar search and datalink is at a higher BR.
Then they should have added the Type 11 instead.
Pretty sure that’s the user mission from a while back, which iirc is just F-16C with bigger wing area in terms of FM (but I might remember wrong).
Anyways while this means it’s missing drag, it also doesn’t account for the larger LERX, extended tail, enlarged elevators, difference in wing shape and bigger trailing and leading edge flaps, so we’ll just have to wait and see what an actual F-2 performs like.
User model, you can tell cause the elevons and leading edge doesn’t move. The AAM-4s lack MRM adapters aside from the pylons the user model has them on by default, and the paint scheme is wrong.
That being said, it does have a different radar to the user model usually, someone must’ve actually spent some time messing around with it. I considered making a new radar to mess around with on it for some testing myself, but decided not to with it’s actual release so soon.
