Mitsubishi F-2

all of modern domestic aircraft lacking its ground ordinance including basic features.

Like T-2’s RWR (uses the one on the F-1)

GCS-1 for T-2 onwards and so on

Then we would’ve never needed a Thai subtree for CAS!

Though I’m a little glad they did add Thailand, the Alpha Jet, Harriers and F-5T are so fun in GRB.

I love CAS options at a BR nothings at + planes that are severely under developped in todays era

Chaff pod is missing in F-1 manual same as the control panels for Chaff pods. Meanwhile at the same manual for T-2 there is. F-1 didn’t have chaff pods

T-2 missing any RWR IRL

Are you sure

F-1 didn’t have chaff pods

I am totally sure because read the whole manual searching it but missing

And I know about photos with Chaff pods, but because of missing in manuals it looks they just attached it with no possibility to operate

there is ability to operate, however during its service there was no active need to use it on a day to day basis

A-7E Moment

Why you claim the ability to use it with no checking the loadout manual where it is missing for F-1 but there is in T-2 one

A-7E just heavily inhaling waiting for its turn

Eh, GCS might be better than nothing, but worse than GBU’s or JDAM’s in ground attack.

Sure, they can pick up and track moving targets, but they only do that 4s after being dropped with no player input, so it would be difficult to use and to avoid friendly fire. That’s far from comparable to other nations.
Even with Thailand Japan is the 2nd worst tree for CAS, shared by Sweden with the same Gripen and only China is worse off because Gaijin refuse to add their CAS too.

The real way Japanese CAS could be good is with ASMs, but considering they didn’t add Grom-1 it’s a question if they’ll even add them.

Why does the Su-30SM and Su-34 have the ability to use the Kh-38MT with no proof the missile actually exists other than a image on a brochure

GCS-1 will effectively be the GBU-8 but for japan with different weights/appearances if they wanted to implement it in a more usable stage

especially since we do have alot of ahistorical stuff, or outright image.png

Lol it is totally different things because here is talks about IRL integration and I say to you that it doesn’t have ability to use it IRL but you starts liying about ability because in game Su-30 has Kh-38

What the nonsense

personally I think having that option on the T-2 is valuable because using the Alpha Jet TH is subsonic and w/ so little cannon rounds, basically a treat for most other CAS.

¬ Not to say it’d be amazing or great, but it’d be nice to have that option of not completely committing to CAS role and playing a sort of weird Multirole

Consider going here, over 5000msg’s and no valid proof other than a mockup from a brochure with no performance stats etc/how it performs etc

Definitely Lying about the 38MT

First image is T-2, not F-1.

Second image is an F-1, but I think it’s for display so I’m not sure if that proves anything. On one hand iirc AAM-1 were used on F-1 and also not in manual, but on the other integrating Chaff pods is more complicated than a different type of missile that goes on the same rails as the others.

Thanks for the correction on the first image :D

Usually for demonstrations it usually displays what it can operate no?

E.g. F-2A having AAM-3 + AAM-5 on its wing tip pylons and so on

so if the case for the F-1, it’ll most likely be the case too
