On you for flying right at the F-14 for half a minute then get jumpscared last second by a fakour. Giant Iran flag right there to warn you at the start of the match.

but why climb in a f-18c with aim7P its just too slow
I just turn left and climb to around 7.5-8k alt to possibly catch stragglers, then turn right to the furball and skirt around it to catch unaware people or to mop up after everyone died from a high alt in my Early Hornet. For sure still got some stuff I gotta work on to make it be more effective but usually a sound strategy from my end.

Because you get more range, more freedom to make defensive manouvers, you’re more fuel efficient, you have better awareness and you can go a bit faster

TWS does not change the speed of the missile. And that’s what I was talking about with needing a few extra braincells to do BVR in the F-18. If you see a bunch of missile contrails coming from an enemy plane near the start of the match, then look where they are headed. If one is coming towards you, then enter a defensive position a bit early. The missile trails from phoenixes and fakours are incredibly large and long, compared to every other AAM in the game.

The Aim-54 is just as hard to notch as other ARHs. The Fakour is mildly easier though.

BVR amraam shots are very easy to notch. And they aren’t as fast as fakours, so they give you plenty of time to react
Do you think people just shut off thinking and start base bombing just because they’re uptiered (like literally every vehicle in the game)? Positional advantage is important regardless of uptiers. Its not that hard to understand.

Its only CW with no range filter, as opposed to the Aim-54 being PD with range filters, this makes it more likely to be defeated by other sources of interfearance.
