Bro that’s it hey really are searching for the little bug theye are effing annoying how are we supposed to find these types of documents we’d need french military reports for the confirmation of the advantages or a detailed report about the seeker (Seeker model if you wanna go do some researches : AD3633, constructor : probably matra). And for a source confirming the presence of a quad detector again we’d need military reports. So basically now only thing we can do is go to French military archivists or military engineers/pilots woohoo.
Edit : Well we’re effed up in the butt i looked up some laws about archives in France and oh well nobody will be able to access documents about Magic 2 seeker until at least 2036. Because in France law says, roughly summed up : “You have to wait 50 years before accessing a document the moment its created if this documents public use could be bad for france defence secrecy and up to 100 years if they are sensitive documents about a targeted person.”

We’re making a response to the reports soon, so we will see for now.
Magic 2 has much bigger gimbal limits now, still no HMD for now.

I’m still scared the report might not make it due to these both requirements gaijin stated i trust in you and hope you can find good source material because in France i tried looking up documents and even contacts pro archivists all info i requested were refused to me. Wow 530D is so much better after these changes. It will actually stay near mach 5 now for a decent amount of time
Was going to try out magic 2 but be honest its hard to fight everything when aim9M is so hard to flare 0% throttle pre flare and it still tracks

Apparently it get the same dual band seeker than the manpads so it’s really hard to flare.
Small FOV but dual band indeed is a good combo for IRCCM

They are adding IRCCM to the magic 2. The report is confirmed / will be fixed.
