The reason why theres graveyards of braindead abrams players is because of premium/squadron vehicle spam this happens to every nation, when the turms released it was entire games of 1dl players in a T-72 the difference is the average american player is objectively worse at the game compared to even the other big 3 nations players and complains more, the lawnmower P-47 players and blindfolded tankers are a stereotype for a reason and seriously stop whining about being unable to expert crews as long as you’re not a literal troglodyte its not hard to get 50-80k sl a game anymore and yes the abrams is survivable you wont die in a single shot most of the time.
Abrams were already good tanks before they got their reload speed buff.
The issue with top tier USA is their auxiliary vehicles, like the HSTV-L being utter crap, and the ADATS having the wrong vehicle designation so you can’t actually use it as an spaa.
i ain’t even gonna argue with you since u said that abrams can survive a hit in the other topic lmao
it wasn’t, u can’t expect a tank with no add-on armour, no spall liners, no improvement to the tank can perform so good, there might be a very small chance for it to win a game or two, but damn if u see usa in ur team u’re doomed.
That isn’t because the Abrams is bad, it’s because the US teams are full of one-death leavers.
Yeah all those 292 players really made the win rate go up /s
They should add maps with minefields as obstacles, yes.
i rarely see clickbaits anymore in top tier, and no most US mains i play with they literally keep respawning untill they’re out of points, it’s literally the matter of armour not the play-base, russians keep spawning and spawning bcz they know their armour is overrated they’re 100% gonna get a kill this time.
“Abrams/T-90s are indestructible wonder weapons not properly modelled in game” - US/RU mains all the goddamn time
and merkava isnt either
Mine protection saves you from HE shells into tracks. US is fine, but your teams are worse than Germans.
Good spalling, good pen, good mobility, good reload but meh armour. Everybody in top tier knows about enemy weaknesses. Except clickbait and XM1 player ofc.
so you saying that abrams is fine right now and the tank is survivable just like the bvm and sweden and germany?
Scroll up to the second to last reply I sent you.
You also didn’t answer my question.
I have not seen these Russian mains claiming the T-90 is indestructible.
Actually - it’s usually american mains claiming that the T-90M is indestructible.
Such as this example on the T-90M devblog thread (also claims expected 85%+ winrate even though the RU winrate at top tier is the 2nd lowest currently at 45%).
Everyone misses the key word here, which is GAME. Notice how the US doesn’t have access to M829A3/4, or the SEP V3? Or How Germany and Russia only very recently received access to their most modern MBTs? We could also go to mention how unrealistic it is that you can repair a barrel in 15 seconds, or an entire Engine in 35.
Yes, these things may be X, Y, and Z in real life. But because Gaijin has conditions A, B, and C, it simply isn’t something that occurs the way we think it does. Very simple. Am I always happy with that? No. There are times I wish the Abrams received XYZ, or where I wasn’t limited to fighting Cold War stuff in a WW2 Vehicle. But it’s a game. So long as impossible things can be done, why should I expect armor and pen and engagements to only be like those in real life?
lol. I’d rather play an Ariete AMV than a 90M, reload, reverse, gun depression, speed and pen are way more meta than armor
I agree.
After playing the Chinese top tier tanks, I could never live with a poor reverse speed, either.
The Chinese tanks also have slanted turrets so the -5 gun depression on the stat card is actually wrong, and the depression ends up fairly decent.
abrams has a major advantage in having a ~5s reload now constantly throughout its ammo. the lack of spall liner is annoying but not game breaking when you consider the USA’s other qualities. btw a nation is not just its MBTs. USA has excellent CAS/support vehicles.
Britain was my first top tier experience, and for all the problems the Chally 2 and Black Knight (and later the Chally 3 once I got it) had you could always count on the reload and reverse gear.
The mobility issues with the Russian MBTs represent a very steep learning curve because you can’t get yourself out of bad situations when you overextend. And if you mess up your shot every tank you fight besides Chinese ones is guaranteed to reload faster than you unless they’ve lost their loader.
