I just used the mig23ml a worse version of mld and it is one of the best 11.3 with the mti r24 you can knock alot out of the sky and with its j band radar it can make certain planes at that br and above unable to see that they have been radar locked
Best example is against a su27 which wont know its been locked by a mig23 until its too late
All 11.3s suck vs the 12s and 12.3s. Because well… its an 11.3 vs 12s or 12.3s. If the Mig-23MLD moves down… ALL 11.3s need to move down as well. Would be better to move all 12s and 12.3s up. To reduce this encounter.
Wanting though to just face 10.3s all the time, its just kinda insane.
The MLD is actually quite good at 11.3 rn.
Literally the best 11.3. Direct upgrade over ML and MLA. Deserves 11.7. If necessary, give it a pair of R-73s instead of 4x R-60Ms and it’ll be excellent but not overpowered for 11.7 (historical change btw).

MIG23ml/mld/mla are the best of 11.3 airplane, and it has the best of radar missiles at that BR( much better than AIM7F or skyflash)
I really can’t be bothered arguing, so I’ll just say try using the F-4Junk at 11.3. That one is even a premium!

Mig23 is too strong even at 11.3.
It should be 12.0.
That said, Mig-29 / F-16 / F-14 / F-15 / Su-27 / Jas-39 should go to 14.0.

In SB the brackets are at least changing every 2 days so that I get to actually play my A-10 for 2 days a week :D
have you ever even played the MiG-23? its like the fastest plane in game. plus R-24Rs are broken, no radar warning for most planes using MTI mode. get good

I usually seem to still get a warning form SRC for some reason, I can tell because I can chaff it. Can’t chaff MTI. Maybe I’m missing something but yes ik J band doesnt give RWR.

0.7 would require BR compression from 1.0 - 8.3 air in order to stay balanced.
We need decompression, but not to any major extent.

you can’t chaff PD you need to notch and chaff
But you can do that. You also know based on RWR that you need to do that. With the MiG there is no warning until you see that stupid missile slam into you.
