F-4E is 1. No slouch in a dogfight 2. Has superior soft features such as cockpit visibility/radar to find enemies 3. Better missiles 4. A far better m61 vulcan for a gun 5. Last but not least, massive first shot capability with the AIM7E2. Even at low altitude you can slot onto people and fire AIM7E2s at close range for high impact.
None of this talks about the fact it also doubles as a bomber
What exactly does the MiG-21SMT or MiG-21MF do better besides stall fights or one circle fights? The F-4E wins two circle dogfights as well

Debatable considering what people use them for in sim. Radar missiles tho ya no contest but f4es radar is useless

Not debatable. AIM7E2 are leagues superior to R3R. AIM-9J has superior range and you’re still not outpulling it so the only time the R60 will be superior is in very specific scenarios where you need the extra agility at close range which will not be utilized often

idk I never found f4es hard to fight in MIG 21s. they’re food if they take the fight, or they run back to airfield
