Why isnt the MiG 29K at 13.3? Its literally a MiG 29SMT (which is 13.3) with 2 extra R-73s and some more thrust, with the same radar and rwr and actually less countermeasures than the SMT. Plus, the SMT isn’t even the best 13.3, for example the Su 30 MK2, so it would make sense for the MiG 29K to also be 13.3. As it is now it is useless as the Su 27SM and freely avaible sqdn vehicle 29M are both superior.
Which shouldnt be 13.3 in the first place so its terrible example.
29K has a larger missile loadout and a much better FM
it literally beats the F-16 block 15 in a dogfight, and could beat the block 10.
It is a massive upgrade over 29SMT
Honestly it just needs R-77-1s and then it would be an awesome sidegrade over 29M.
RN it’s just a 29M with worse missile kit but vastly superior fm with better defensive kit (large cal cms and 4 more cms total)

You’re missing the point. BR compression exists. Yes it would be better than the SMT, but it’s also worse than all the other 13.7s. Ideally it would be inbetween the 2 brs, but 13.3 is still more ideal than 13.7, considering it’s on par to the Su 30 MK2 at 13.3. You need to look at the bigger picture when it comes to brs, not just wether it’s better or not to one other aircraft which is how gaijin has decided it’s br here.
the Su-30Mk 2 should be 13.7, it’s too strong for 13.3

the 29Kr is an incredible aircraft for it’s BR. Obviously not as strong as the Su-27SM but that should be 14.0 anyway

It’s not an incredible aircraft for its br. Just because you’ve done well in it means nothing. This is where people go wrong - when it comes to balancing and brs it’s all about comparison to other vehicles rather than just saying about what it induvidually has. Rergardless, as it is, the 29K is a dead plane as there are 2 freely available planes in the same tree that are just flat out better.
it’s great at 13.7. Easily would choose it over something like the F-15s or 16s at the same BR.
Su-30MKs and the 27SM being undertiered doesn’t stop the 29K from being strong at 13.7
