People who have actually flown it will understand the MiG-25 isn’t a very good plane in Simulator battles.
Its performance is quite poor, and with the inability to swap to MTI mode as you wish, it’s hinders the vehicle more.
From things like the curtain blocking the player’s view to even worse things listed below:
The bad:
- This plane breaks apart at 760 mph under 5km.
- MTI doesn’t activate until your under 3km
- it has poor acceleration, about half of that of a MiG-23 as an example
- no main cannon (this is just by design)
- terrible visibility
The good:
- max speed
- R-40TD/RDs have a max speed of 4.0. Mach, after it gets up to speed, it has slow acceleration (If you can even lock something.)
Its performance:
Isn’t the worst, but isn’t very good either. I firmly believe making it a 10.7 in simulator would make the vehicle well balanced.
