MiG-23ML premium is insanely downgraded!

I honestly don’t find anything good in this Gaijin made premium Soviet fighter.

Radar is blind,

Turn rate is horrible,

doesn’t hold speed energy even with few Gs lose it control.

The automatic wings mechanism doesn’t work properly.

Wimgs Break apart when holding just few seconds on $1400 km/h see level flight.

You can’t even scape because the plane disintegrate on air.

Bombing mode doesn’t exist, even when the real one have a radar mode for that.

HUD lack all the basic information for do the job

Similar counterparts doesn’t have such information in HUD but Gaijing went ahead and screwed the only 3rd gen fighter with decent HUD IRL.

For being a premium aircraft it’s disrespectful….

F-1C-200 with 16 human kill in the same match (same gen fighter) and the few MiG-23ML in match struggling like rats. That FR trash has only 70 Kn force in his engine vs 127 Kn on MiG-23ML and Gaijin doesn’t took that when they decided screwed such a good fighter with close 1.0 power/weight rate!!

If exist a money back
Option please give me my money. That’s not right

So? when is its FM getting nerfed down to IRL level?

Together with every other plane ?

Sure, but inversely also fix all those underperforming too

The irony of complaining about it being weak in air sim.

Sure it’s weak in some areas, but it’s an incredibly potent plane at 11.3, and it’s better than almost anything else around 11.3.

??? It literally gets a bracket where nothing but IT gets a look down radar with good radar missiles… And of the MiG-23s it’s ONLY the ML that’s included in it, the strongest opposition it sees is an F-4E lol.
Have they not catered to premiums enough?

Oh god, I totally missed that.

I was thinking ARB at 11.7 where at least it faces uptiers… Not 11.3 where it curbstomps nearly without competition.

I will say that the FGR2, Viggen C and Hawk 200 RDA technically do. But the missiles are… okay… but in terms of overall performance… Mig-23 is definetly better and things like the FRS1 being the same BR or the GR1 being a higher BR is just BS

Ahh yes my subsonic plane that can only sustain 4G that carries 4 short range missiles and has an underperforming I band radar…

Also has a 2km long smoke trail
11.3 BR in sim but no one complains

Mach 2 capable MiG-23, can sustain like 6-7G can point decently carries 2 long range missiles that are insanely hard to avoid + 4 more heat seeking missiles and a radar than can look towards the ground with an irst.

No smoke trail 11.3 “OMG ITS SO BAD WHY WOULD YOU PUT IT AT 11.3 ITS SO OVERTIERED”

Exactly my thinking.

Half of what is at 11.3 is just stupid.

What drivel lmao the Sea Harrier Frs.1 by far had the best 3rd gen HUD and it’s not even close.

All relevant flight information including a flight path marker, ranging for the missiles via the radar

Radar modes that told you how to steer the aircraft to perform intercepts in complete darkness. Information and symbology was displayed onto the hud to allow for stern and front quarter intercepts.

HUD stadimetric ranging allowing for manual ranging of the gun in air to air combat. The sight could also integrate with the radar and provide radar lead and ranging.

Could track and lead moving ships proving data to the hud for aiming and tossing bombs…

That’s not even half of all its features.

And it did all of that on a bit rate computer that was of a higher count than the F-14 computer in the 70s…

You’re little MiG-23 hud is an etch-a-sketch in comparison

It caters to the lowest common denominator.

MiG-23 players are some of the worst I’ve seen

No one plays the sea harrier except a small few who know how to do well

I just play the FRS1e, Ive not touched the SQV one in like a year+, ever since it went from 10.7 to 11.3

It can now face the mirage 2k delta lol

But considering all that’s wrong with the sea harrier why would anyone play it.

It’s like giving the F-16 the flight model of the F-4 and saying “looks good to me”

Win rates are decent up it’s br.

While the MiG-23 is doing terribly bc dummies fly it so it goes down in br.

Why would you fly it in Sim in a bracket where you’re uptiered a full BR?

I don’t typically lol.

Unless I feel like really challenging myself.

You spelled “punishing myself” wrong there… = )

Maybe someone like @Smin1080p_WT or @Stona_WT would land 50% discount code for that Mig-23ML? 👀

Nah my honestly overzealous obsession and fascination with the harrier has made me rather good with it.

I can still maintain a positive K/D with it when uptiered in sim.

Just involves using very different tactics.

Helps a lot when mirage 2k pilots are inexperienced and don’t understand that they can not out hover a harrier.

If the devs ever take note of the harrier issues (50% missing lift - 35% missing thrust - VIFF not being modeled) than the jet would be very well fit for 11.3

MiG-23ML is far from bad but it’s not exactly the best. Recent higher battle rating premium implementations seemed to consider if the plane can engage both air, ground and naval targets, this is obvious since F-2A ADTW as premium implementation to the game to Su-30MK2 recently.

MiG-23ML is the old guard of premium vehicles, and at some point it will underperfom when compared to similar or superior vehicles (i.e. Mirage F1C-200 and F/A-18C Early respectively).

Radar is indeed bad, turn rate is variable, you need to sweep open the wings to improve this aspect, it can sustain a turn or two at best case scenario, is not a turn fighter first of all this is your mistake, expect bugs, use semi-automatic mode for wings sweeping, enable IAS and don’t exceed 1470 km/H and you should be fine, and God forbid soviet planes to have bomb ballistic computers.

You can’t refund premium vehicles or most items in game if it doesn’t fall under not authorized transactions, unintentional or mistaken product and so on, refunds based on “I played the vehicle, it’s bad, I want my money back.” is not applied.
