defend it ? i never defended russian cas ? if it was about the existance about the kh38mt that different type of discusion but i never did ? lol
the crazy part is i am mad about gaijin not to add similar weapon to counter part even after 1 year. even if see me as russian main, i didnt chose it, it chose me.
Wonder if theres any equivalent version of kh38 to other nation, I was thinking of the agm 142 (popeye) but a heavy fighter can only carry 2 max

This is not a equivalent to the Kh38s. These are subsonic munitions and is no where near as fast and deadly. In addition, the payload capacity is not large compared to the su30/4. I believe the F-15E can carry 2 and the F18 can carry 4.
Going from the kh29 to the kh38, there is no trade-off. It’s an overall upgrade. But going from the Mavericks to the Harpoon, there’s definitely a trade-off in capacity for munitions that can still be intercepted easily.
The thing is that mavericks are severely under performing because it’s drag is heavy. Fixing this would be such a major buff.
What I would like to see is stuff like the Storm Breaker, JAGM-F, or AGM-169

There’s 0 chance mavericks will get fixed in a reasonable time and even if they did, russia would have to get something to counter them better

Hopped on for my first game after work. After about 3 minutes, killed by a lmur. Then jumped in my SAM, killed by another lmur. Spawned an mbt, 15 seconds out of spawn - you guessed it, lmur. Left the game. Turned off war thunder.

That’s why I like playing italy. The only nation with a SHORAD that’s effective at CRAM.
By the time your Rafale intercepts the chopper (you need to spawn and pay alot points for it), the cookie has been mostly eaten. You need to destroy the ground vehicle youre currently in. You need to expense 700-800 points to spawn the Rafale. You need to fly 20 km and then make your shot.
Any Mi-28 would have already fired a full volley, touched down, fired another volley, thouched down… Means your team will be already dust. Most pple also tend to leave when killed by air. So it doesn’t change anything, the match will be lost.
The only solution would be if fighters would be cheaper to spawn (they’re more expensive than ATGM choppers, even just with air-air loadout). So they could be brought in earlier.
I guess as long as russian air is that stronK, it would make sense to allow fighter first spawns. Otherwise its difficult with all this mad stuff. Sadly SPAAs wont work vs these threats. BUK with hypersonic MACH5 missiles probably drop enemy air assets before they’re doing too much damage. But nothing else. See BUK shooting down Rafales alot, btw.

You might be thinking of the inferior CM-502KGs:
TY-90s got nerfed.
They are still the best heli A-2-A missiles and are still good even for 13.0, but they are easily defeated with pre-flaring or roll dodging.
Although they are pretty good at the lower BRs, such as 11.0 with the Z-9WA.
But no gun with the Z-9WA, and weak gun for the Z-10s, though, so they can’t deal with planes once they get within gun range… unlike the Mi-28NM.
Apache’s gun against planes is also unreliable.
I’d really like to see the Apache getting proxy shells for its 40mm, and the Z-10’s too (apparently it can get a 30mm too?).
Those F&F helis are now a whole 1.0 BR higher than the KA-52.
The KA-52 is still very much viable now.
Most of the new multi-SAM SPAAs also went up to 12.7.
You’d still have to be careful of the CS/SA5, EldE 98, and especially the Tan Sam Kai, though.
If you even have the opportunity to see the heli or when they get launched.
Most aircraft at top tier preflare within 4-5km of the battlefield anyways.
Besides, unless they are spawncamping the air spawn, they’re usually near their helipad to rearm their AGMs too…
Z-10ME doesn’t get a good radar either, making it easy for planes to spot them with their radar before it spots them.
AH-64E’s and Mi-28NM’s radars are much more usable.
Z-10ME radar is a 100% copypaste of AH-64E radar. And both useless.
