I can just see it now, limited time vehicles at 100 pieces (YF-23 for example) put on the auction and people are forced to compete with prices going over 500 gaijin coin…
Truly innovate stuff guys! so glad all the most recent bugs (let alone the long standing ones) where fixed alongside this monetisation effort… wait, they where not…
the issue is as with many issues in this area, that gambling etc is often defined by getting something out, that has monetary value. Which online games avoid, by having stuff like the Gaijin Coin, which isn’t a real currency, but is basically the same
Could you please stop the constant poking for all the possible predatory monetization schemes until you find one that won’t lend you another boycott. How about instead improving the game if you want people to spend more money? I know it’s hard to comprehend for the suits
I would not have an issue with the auction system if it stayed selling skins but we all know that’s not the case and if this is the way gaijin will bring back old event vehicles i have to say that i am mega disappointed.
The auction is a new way to distribute player-created content. In addition to trophies, we’ll now select a few more pieces of work from those not included in them and release them to the auction in limited edition.
You liar, those “player created content” are not on the live.warthunder.com. So this mean that its only gaijin work. So, all money that are used will on only into your pocket.
It has only been one day… Staff / Devs will want to see more feedback on the matter, but what can help is constructive feedback on how it could be tweaked / adjusted
But, some players may even see things differently over a few days, so lets see how things go… Staff will more than likely respond about the news / feedback all in due time
You know very well that this is biased. The last time there was a vote—regarding the APHE rework—our friends, the kickers, suddenly arrived and massively voted NO, even though there was originally a clear majority in favor of YES.
Also, where is the roadmap?
Instead of focusing on ways to bring in even more money, there are still pending suggestions with strong YES votes that would help expand in-game activities.
For example, the addition of playable aircraft carriers in Enduring Confrontations is something many players have been asking for.
Unfortunately, it seems that developers are prioritizing profit more and more.
Not looking for a fight here but we all know when gaijin say they will look into it, it’s just a cover for themselves until the reaction calm down.
The fact no one told us this was happen no road map no vote nothing. It’s the classic “well if no one asked for then that give us the right to add it.”
Remember when no one asked for India or having to buy C&P vehicles with real money yeah.
A major change like this should have been voted on that way gaijin back is cleared but nope.
if the game was in a good state, balanced, with bugs that players really care about fixed or at least mentioned regularly, maps fixed/improved, improved game modes, among other things that the game could be much better, i believe the action house wouldnt be a problem.
BUT: bug reports ignored for years, players left in the dark for years, no real changes to game modes, no real changes to maps for years, no real changes that players have been asking for for years (and when they do it, do it poorly) and they still want to add a new way to grab money? im sorry but i think the last thing you will get is constructive feedback
