MB-326K VS R2Y2, There is no reason R2Y2 can keep 8.0

well it means one of three things:

  1. r2y2 is garbage and should be moved to 7.3 (which isnt the thing as its better than shwalbe and f80 early)
  2. mb326 is op and should be moved up to 8.0
  3. both

After having spaded all three R2Y2s, I would say they need to be massively lowered in BR.

V1 to 6.7 - its a fatter Meteor
V2 to 7.0 - very marginally better.
V3 to 7.3 - very marginally better still.

Also for some odd reason despite identical engine names, the V1 has more thrust per engine than the V2/3. The latter two should probably see their thrust slightly increased to match the V1.

As for the MB-326K - how much of that thing’s power is due to the plane, and how much is due to its airspawn on maps where everyone else runway starts? I’d first suggest making all ground attackers runway start or airspawn 10km behind the fighter runway. Bombers I would suggest spawning all of those 20-30km behind the fighter runway. Any “tactical bomber” which is functionally an Attacker (think Helldivers, Pe-2s, or Arado 234s) would be changed to the Attackers they were used as, and spawn as such.

Every R2Y2 its almost the same plane, the difference between the three R2Y2s is comparable to the difference between the Yak-3(e), Yak-3 and Yak-3P; not fucking Yak-3 to Yak-3U, you cant place a R2Y2 next to a Spitfire

And yet all those R2Y2s are frankly worse Me-262As in most respects, the V1 especially. I also would place every single Me-262A model at 6.7 for the same reason in all game modes, and drop the C models down to 7.0 and 7.3, respectively.

“frankly worse”? How is that if they are alltogether better?

When I unlocked them they were 390,000 RP each.

R2Y2 at least better than ME262A, so it could be 7.3 at least; however, in GRB, it could be 7.0, considering its acceleration and loadouts are not good

They are fatter 262s that turn better but accelerate worse except maybe the V3. Now if the V2 & V3 had the same engine power the V1 has, yes the latter two would be unquestionably a bit better.

But the V1 is give or take basically identical to all 262A models - after spading out the old event 6.7 Sturmvogel I observed how 262As fit fine at 6.7, and how none should be above that.

Which R2Y2 are you talking about? I was mainly comparing the V1 to the 262A models. To reiterate - I believe all Me-262A models, regardless of armament, should sit at 6.7 in all game modes, as should the R2Y2 V1. The V2 & V3 can be 7.0 & 7.3 respectively, especially if these latter two get the slightly increased engine power the V1 has for some odd reason despite the engines of all 3 sharing the same name.

Well i cant agrue that the most early Ryukai is maybe in comparison with the Me262, but its just blatantly better in turn, max speed and cannons. Main problem of 262 is garbage cannons, so the Ryukai is pretty much alike that one Me262 with 6 cannons. And the said Ryukai eats them F80s and F84s easilly. So it has no place as low as 6.7, and not even 7.0. 7.3 is basic MINIMUM br they can be.

I only spaded the V1, but i also flew the V3. I did feel the V3 being better flight model tho. They are very capable planes for their era, problem with them is that their era is 7.0-7.7 and they are 8.0

We must be playing very different games then - in my experience any F-80 or F-84 not in an extended turnfight almost carelessly outruns and even out-accelerates an R2Y2 of any particular flavor. Hence why I suggested the range for them that I did. The worst of the three no longer sees any kind of Korean jets. The other two still would but that’s just compression being compression.

We agree on the V2 and V3 being capable enough vs other 7.0-7.3 jet fighters. I do plainly see though that a Banshee has its way with any R2Y2, be it in speed, acceleration, or maneuverability, and especially roll rate. But the V1, no, that thing is a fat 262A with better guns.

262s are slower, dogfight worse, climb worse, and have worse guns.

They look cooler though.
