That variety you so desperately want can be achieved in spades with only American vehicles.

Its based off the XM1(C) but heavily modified and changed for SK’s need and wants its not the same tank whatsoever so there is no claim for the US to get it, thats like saying the US should get the F2 because its based on the F-16
I’ll always be on team united korea tree. Sub trees just kill a lot of potential for nations, just look at all sub trees added besides SA.

It was changed for their needs by US, some native changes
US doesn’t need a sub tree, it’s as simple as that. They have enough variety as is. Want variety? Grind more trees, even though the grind can be a real pain.
And Japan can get Thailand. This way SK’s potential won’t get butchered by either side.

But France, Italy, Sweden, UK, do not need to grind out whole other tree for variety

And yet they do all do?
They all have subtrees, so they do not need to switch nations and restart grinding to get some variety
they are smaller in comparison to the US if its just the base nations, thats why they get sub nations

tbf Argentina for the longest time was considered Germany sub tree, the Thai F5 could be just that a squadron plane since japan lacked one

Sub trees just kill potential for trees. They’ll add 10 of the most copy&paste vehicles from the nation and they’ll give it a new vehicles after 6-8 months if lucky.
You want the K21? Lol have fun with the SK BMP-3
You want the K1s and K2? Have fun with the SK Tiran 6, T-72M1 and T-80U/UK.

maybe france and italy, the SA sub tree is mostly unique so its the only place to play these tanks (ignoring the fact their later tanks are just terribly modernised centurions)

They still do to a large extend. Italy doesn’t get access to F-15s, later F-16s, F-18s and Su-XXs.
Sweden doesn’t get access to F-15s, russian based jets and maybe F-16s depending on Gaijin.
France doesn’t get access to most of the modern US based aircraft besides the F-16AM.
SK would still be a far better subtree for japan then for the US like quarta was trying to say it was
