In the absence of any FnF abiltiy then I think the missile just hitting the last known location if the laser is switched off / you are actively defending against a threat and lost tpod lock and it stilll hitting that spot (even if it has to be within 5km) wouldnt be entirely unreasonable (as far as I am aware, the IOG on the hellfire is totally wrong and ahs been reported such for months, it should work the same as bombs and hit the last known location just fine, same is probably true of the Brimstone)
That being said, I think they should be given the seeker head from the ePaveways. Cant track a moving target but can be rippled fired off at static targets at long range or guided onto a single moving target with the laser spot. I think it would be a fair middile ground if FnF like the Kh-38 or AGM-65 is deemed too OP
I THINK THAT THE SU-34 AND F-15E HAVE COMPLETELY DISRUPTED THE AIR-GROUND BALANCE, ESPECIALLY THE SU-34. There is no way to deal with them except armor and fighters. Even fighter jets may not be able to shoot them down, such as the F-4 ICE
which I just find so funny that 9 brimstones that dont one shot, dont work at all with LOG, dont actually reach their maximum range, and take a full minute from just 15km as well as having a terrible arc of fire “are to op”
yet the KH38, takes less then a minute from 20km, actually fired from 20kms, doesn’t have a massively restricting firing arc, can one shot any tank, LOG is good enough to hit targets in smoke, and if the target leaves the smoke it will require them, oh and obviously after all of that they are Fire and Forget
like how does gaijin look at those 2 and be like, “yep brimstones are to op and you have a skill issue if you dont do well with them”
the fact the Tornado Gr1 is at 11.3 in ground and the Gr4 is an entire BR higher im just gonna keep the Gr1 and use it to get down BRs with the 11.3 line up
GRB battle ratings for aircraft are a total mess that its not just the GR4 that screwed. Though quite frankly. with the extreme top tier compression. You’ll rarely get a downtier with an 11.7 ground line-up these days. Might as well use the GR7 or Gripen For CAS and the FA2 for CAP.
Laser is not useable for it, as for balance, I think a IR KH-29 could work fine.
It’s said KH-29TD is a IR guided version, which is TV in game, someone submited issue but was rejected for too less information.
The pod problem, you need to guide it and keep flying towords the enemy, because the pod have no side view.
It can be fired in 20km, but when it hit, su-25 is about 12km away, su-34 would be much closer.
then thats just something russian players should have to deal with, because as we have shown, brimstones are far less broken then the KH38MT and if we cant get dumbed down FnF the Su34 really shouldnt have even better FnF missiles on a better platform that can defend itself
