The Hawks could be very capable and diverse in the UK TT.
T.1A would be a good alternative to the Alpha Jets, Gaijin could omit the 9L’s and equip it only with it’s A-G weapons and place it around 9.0
Hawk 100 Early could be around 10.7 and be equipped with 9L’s, would have the same A-G weapons as the T.1A.
Hawk 100 Late could be foldered with the 100 Early can and have 9L’s but the extended A-G weapons options with Brimstones and ALARM. Could be 10.7 in Air battles and 11.3+ in ground.
Hawk 103 could be an event/premium aircraft, would basically be a Hawk 100 Early.
Hawk 200’s could either come to 13.0 with AMRAAM’s/13.3+ with ASRAAM’s, or could be split as an Early and Late versions, Late would be with AMRAAM’s and in the future ASRAAM’s but the Early version could come with Skyflash and sidewinders and be placed around 11.7/12.0
Hawk 203 could be an event/premium vehicle alongside the Hawk 103.
Overall there’s many versions of the Hawk that could come for the UK TT which could each be unique and useful in-game
Id have the T.1A in a Red Arrow Livery as a premium and have the gnat as the TT version.
Id also prefer the Hawk 200 more like 11.3 with 9Ls and skyflash than at max BR with strong missiles. Would be a really fun aircraft to have at that BR
We could have both? Would love to get the Gnat in-game and also a Red Arrow T.1A would probably sell really well as a premium.
Yeah that’s where it could be split into an Early and Late version. Early with Skyflash and 9L and Late with AMRAAM and ASRAAM. An early Hawk 200 might be better at 11.3 instead of 11.7/12.0, just wasn’t sure whether it had 9L or 9M.
It would be difficult to let countries play catch up when they were in many instances leading developement.
I do agree of course that in those cases implementations should be solid.
F-5 was out of this world when it was newly added while Mirage F.1 was trash for a long time.
F.1 was still playable especially the F.1CT because it had stock Magic 2 which were busted at the time but the flight characteristics were a joke.
Mirage 2000 was suffering for a while in that department after MiG-29 9.12 and F-16 were introduced.
At least France was a bit more active in developement than Britain and therefore is a little easier to balance. God knows why we got a Benelux tree crammed in there.
It would be cool if Eurofighter and Rafale got to slap a bit before further changes to the meta are made but we will just have to see about that.
Especially with the pacing in the next few patches.
China is in a difficult position because it went from largely obsolete to rather modern aircraft in a very short amount of time. The late Chinese Flankers are something to look forward to.
Personally I hope MiG-29 9.12 and SU-27/J-11 get revisited. J-11A would profit from a downtier by 0.3 but it is a matter of perspective.
9M was around when the Hawk 200 first took flight, but 9L would be a smarter option, considering its Subsonic and I would rather not have it bumped to 11.7 and face F-14s in it
You are right but the F-16C than had only AIM-7M and AIM-9L. Flight Performance wise the MiG-29G is better than the F-16C and R-73s are better than AIM-9L so I would say at that time the MiG-29G > F-16C
if i remember right the aim 9m was introduced together with the R-73 in the end and the F-16 FM buff happened as well
At the time the F-16 did already outperform mig 29s
Iirc the Mig 29 had better first and 2nd turn due to not having a G limiter, it was after they removed the limiter the F16 would win everytime, prior they just didnt have the nose authority until they got to about 800-600kph. Then they were held back by the limiter. Without that they could pull just as hard as they wanted letting them have better nose authority.
