sigh I’ll check the manual rq
Subpar RWR is what I consider its biggest weakness, lack of HMD less so, there are also AV-8Bs who are subsonic with no DL. But on the other hand the RWR is really a big problem since it is more than likely to either face said AV-8Bs or KWS/J-8F in higher altitudes.
Which one do you have?
I mean at the very least if it is a copy of the Su-22 it could be like the JBG-77 or MFG-28. Cant find the details on hind but it points to the 5th combat helicopter regiment which operates Mi-24P.
wingtip EW jammers for the su-34
west German, Post upgrade the last one
It’s declassified and I got it from an angry person during the update in which the 29G was implemented
but sadly, I’ll have to check it later when I’m home because my phone can’t view .rar files
Can you show me where in that article specifically it says the ASSTA1 used them…?
You can’t, because nowhere in that article does it say the ASSTA1 could use them, it just says that they successfully tested them.
Article is from 2009, development of ASSTA3 started in ~2008 and Germany was the first customer of those specific Boeing LJDAMS.
IF they tested them on an ASSTA variant in 2008-2009, it would’ve been the ASSTA2, as that upgrade came out already.
These cool data card customizations can be displayed after defeating enemies, and at the end of the battle, the high-contribution player’s data card screen will be displayed, which is the selling point of the high-priced package.
It would be cool if gaijin could add a custom system like the BF series.
Players who are not interested in this content can opt for the lower-priced “Pure Vehicle”, which is just a Premium Vehicle and does not contain any other content.
Idk sometimes the radar is very finicky, ive lost lock from someone heading towards me and dropping chaff, other times the radar just wont lock despite perfect conditions, i think it may be better than the J8F in the missile barge section but worse overall since you wont be able to ID targets. Stock grind i feel is gonna be pretty bad if they give it RB24J’s lol.
Still remember playing the D at 12.0 when the F16 came out and needing to grind with 2 rb24j
Mine is different, I believe
Current Di cockpit is exactly what regular D should have in game. Not really inaccurate on Di since difference comes in english/imperial labels. About HMD on D model - its not exactly missing but could be added the same way Mirage 2000 got its HMD. JA37D tested it so all versions based on it could also receive it in game (that is D and both Di’s).
watch it go to 13.3 if it gets HMD
If I understand correctly, Gaijin expects customers to pay €90 for a rank 9 aircraft when it becomes available.
Simply because it will be a rank 9 vehicle?
My question is whether Gaijin plans to lower prices so that future buyers do not have to spend up to €100 for a premium pack.
I can’t help but compare Gaijin’s paid vehicles to those in DCS, and I mean no offence to Gaijin’s 3D modellers—their work is great. However, the models do not match those in DCS. Not in the level of detail nor level of functionality.
This is solely a comparison of the vehicle models, not the games themselves.
It is questionable to justify an €80 price tag based solely on the vehicle’s rank, and the bonus Premium Time, Golden Eagles, title, and decal do not add much value.
You probably will stay high or just before a contrail appears and try to stay behind your team since you’ll have to play as a support fighter. In air RB trying to dogfight with the bus chassis it is just doesnt work and youll be too slow to fight after 1 turn. In sim it might be okay but then the RWR will be a major disadvantage. All and all i expect it to be a pretty underwhelming vehicle. Maybe gaijin will finally see once again how compressed everything is considering the J8F, JA37Di, and KWS (other 13.0 ARH with multi channel) shouldn’t be at the same BR.
Gaijin would put the D up to 12.7 if it got HMD knowing them. I already have a severe disdain for the viggen so id rather they not add HMD if it could result in it going up. Idk, 3 missiles busses in a row on a TT isnt really all that exciting imo
J-8F could potentially be 13.3 with PL-5EII or more realistically PL-8B. KWS seems okay at 13.0, and the Di, I am not sure, maybe AIM-9LI for it as well.
They denied Aim 9Li so no its stuck with Aim 9l, i dont think the Di is better than most other 13.0 ARH slingers just for the fact that it can only fire 1 missile at a time and has a bad RWR, it might be okay in sim but we’ll see
Honestly the way I see it is this:
Major Nations get fed on a silver platter due to money and “player count” for the big fixes
Minor Nations get nothing due to not as much money, same for player count.
But Gaijin should be taking the player count into consideration, there’s a reason why MINOR Nations are called MINOR.
Heres another view on it as an example.
There’s 500 US mains, 250 vote for a bug fix, Gaijin says yes.
Now let’s say there’s 150 British Mains, 75 vote for bug fix, Gaijin says no due to “low player count”.
Despite both scenarios being the exact same ratio of “Total Nation Players” : “Bug Fix Players”
Like I said, it’s just an example but it’s how I view the whole player count and bug fix thing
Personally, I think JA37D & JA37Di never equipped HMS and 4th gen infrared Air-to-Air Missile in swedish service it make sense
