There was ONE SINGLE testbed airframe used for OTIS testing. No other serial production Viggen was ever used with HMD and not even NVGs either.
One single non-fighter 37 airframe was heavily modified for NVG trials. I’m unsure if it was an AJS, Sk or one of the Spaning models…
The backlighting for every single cockpit dial/switch/button was adjusted down by a lot and the airframe was not safe to fly at night without NVGs anymore, because you wouldn’t be able to see any switches without the use of NVGs. In addition to that, the NVGs used at the time gave really poor depth perception and the air force considered it plain unsafe because you couldn’t see powerlines or treetops at the typical Viggen operating altitudes (AJ/S, SF, Sk models).
yeah, ive noticed from grinding both german and russian ground that its just more fun (even if the team mates are sub optimal) russias 8.3/8.7 is goofy and really fun the BMP 2 being arguably better then any of the british tanks at that BR beside maybe the ZA35
oh yeah no its good dont get me wrong, but ive had way more fun playing russia and that was just with the BMP2 I havent even got things like the T55A or anything yet
It’s ludicrous, but they’ll do it; they’ll set a £90 price since they know people bought the £60 premium, the £70 premium, and are likely to buy the £80 Viggen.
